3 of my pregnant friends have landed on names for each of their little boys...

Nolan
Olan
Solan

I'm sensing a trend. I haven't been away from this board for long, but is this maybe the new Aiden, Caden, Hayden, Jayden?

    I have only heard of the name Nolan!

    I have a nephew named Kayden.

    Could be. I'm not one for calling trends, but you my be on to something. Solan is nms. (there is a toilet brand called Sloan) so it reminds me of Solan lol.

    Nov&Dec-Provera because of no period after 35+ days
    First RE appt 1/10/2013
    Tests: TSH (normal), Prolactin (normal), SA (abnormal)
    Hysteroscopy (normal) and PCOS labs (negative/normal) 1/15/2013
    2/1/13- HPT BFP but Beta Hcg was negative
    Plan: Femara + Trigger + IUI in April if no real BFP before then Bloggy Blog!

    Interesting. I could see it happening.

    I saw the new big trend in girl's names will be names that end in A (Nora, Sophia, Cora, Rosa, etc.) but the article that mentioned that didn't mention boys names. I could see this becoming the new "ayden" trend.

    Could be! I have met a Nolan and an Olan before. Solan is definitely a new one for me.

    I love the name Nolan, but Olan and Solan are just trying too hard. I kinda feel bad for those two little boys. :(

    ETA: I hope that this is not a new trend. Yuck!

    Weird.  Never heard of those last two before!  They look ridiculous though, a bit of a stretch from Nolan.  Definitely NMS.

    The only time I've heard of Olan is when talking about Olan Mills portrait studio. I think they're in department stores, not sure which though.

    I do like Nolan, but I hope this isn't going to be a trend.

    Apparently Olan and Solan are each names of grandfathers. But I would have assumed with all the "old" names making comebacks that I would have heard of these before now.
