PIP Toddler bedrooms

My daughter isn't ready to move out of her crib yet, and neither are we, but I am starting to get ideas for her bedroom.

In my mind if she makes it to nearly 3 in her crib, we will move her to the current guest room w/a twin bed in there and redo that room as her new bedroom. It is a bigger room.

If she climbs out within the next few months, we will keep her in the nursery (which is closer to our room) and just have her crib mattress on the floor.

But I am looking forward to redoing some things in her room to make it a little less babyish.

I would love pictures!

  • LOL, wish I could! We're converting the crib this weekend and redoing her room. Won't be painting yet, but I should post!
  • DD is still in her crib but I purposely decorated her room on the more girly side so I wouldn't have to change much as she grew.

  • I plan on keeping it this way except for the crib.

  • DD has a toddler Disney Princess canopy bed, Disney Princess table/chairs and toy box, and a white dresser. We live in an apt so it's just basic white walls, tan carpet. We're moving in July, and her new bedroom will have hardwood floors and white walls. It will be a house, so we may paint it in some way. I think we'll keep her toddler set until she's 5, then we'll upgrade.

  • It is funny, I am an Interior Designer but I have no desire to do anything with DD or my soon-to-be DS's rooms!  DD's is currently painted a medium green with purple flower wall decals, espresso furniture and that is about all.  She will get new tbd furniture when DS is born but she is staying in her room.  She is going straignt to a twin bed (eeks right around 2 years old).
