This is happening in my cousins town. I keep getting updates through my cousin's Facebook page but haven't seen anything in the news about this story.

I can't believe the little boy is still being held hostage. How terrifying.

His court appearance for the shooting at his neighbors was scheduled, he just didn't show up. Yeah, they should have gone to get him and taken him to jail, but I think if it was the way they handled things, it would have happened.

And seriously, even if he was in jail on Tuesday, it's not like he wouldn't have tried this schit some other time.

And the neighbors don't think anything was done about his

killing their dog. Just seems very odd to me.

I know. As soon as I read your title, I thought "Ah, I bet she's talking about the little boy in Alabama." It's getting very little attention in the national media. No one around here is even talking about it, and my office usually talks for days about major news events.
