Treat bag items (recommendations)

Please give me some ideas for small items for treat bags for DD's third birthday party. The party is at Monkey Joe's, and it's a joint party with another child. We'll have balloons and a cake with a theme, but since there will be both girls and boys at the party, we need gender neutral ideas. The only thing we have so far are the inidvidual bags of Goldfish crackers.

TIA!

  • I had boys and girls at Emma's party and I put names on the bags. Boys got Mickey Mouse things and the girls got Minnie Mouse things, stickers, etc.

Do you have a party city anywhere near you? We got lots of great ideas there. We did a small thing of bubbles, tattoos, stickers, lollipops, whistles....I can't remember what else we put in there. They were all sesame street themed (except the lollipops).

Party City has a great selection and has a lot of items in open bins so you can buy the amount you need.  Target and Oriental Trading are also good sources. We did goldfish packs, mini chips ahoy cookies, large bouncy balls (not choking size), crayon packs, mini bubbles, mini rubber ducks, whistles, and crazy straws.  I really wish I skipped the whistles!

  • We did bubbles and I let DS and DD put a ton of quarters into the bouncy ball machine at Old Navy so each kid got one of those too.  Oh, and stickers.

  • Personally I wouldn't go nuts. I think all kids love stickers & tattoos and then goldfish and maybe a lollipop or something would be good.
