Update to DH shoulder

Thank you so much ladies for all your thoughts and prayers and kind words. We got a call from the orthopedic doctor saying that he didnt see anything overly suspicious on the MRI scan and he would forward the results to the oncologist, who we should be hearing from today. He said DH should have the growth removed and they will analyze it further after it is out but so far it looks good! Thank God all my worrying was for nothing!!! Also found out the doctor we will be seeing also specializes in non-cancerous tumor removal, which is why they want us to see him. And that he is very highly rated, was voted one of NJ "Top Docs" several years in a row and rated highly in New York magazine. He will be in great hands!

Thanks again for all the well wishes. I heard the word "oncologist" and I just let my imagination run away and freaked out. It really helped to have you ladies to "talk" to about this, especially since DH didnt want to say anything to anyone IRL yet until we knew for sure what we were dealing with.

That is wonderful news! It must have been such a relief to hear the words "non cancerous tumor"

Yes, VERY relieved to hear those words! I think DH was nervous too even tho he said he wasnt. He sometimes has trouble sleeping when he's got a lot on his mind. I always ask him in the morning how did you sleep? This morning he said "Good! Like a log"  Me too, DH. Me too...
