Yes, unless you have an underlying issue such as complete previa or something like that. Then I'd ask your doctor. :-)

I asked at my first appointment. My ob says it is fine as long as it is the normal stuff...but I haven't tired. I told DH I think I will be more comfortable after the first ultrasound.

It is typically safe throughout the pregnancy, although you may notice some spotting or cramping.

You probably already have. Pregnancy starts at conception, not when you get a second line. If sex regularly caused miscarriages there would be no more human race.
