What just came out of my nipples?!!!

Ok first time mom and I have no idea what this puss like, discharge stuff was that just came out if my left nipple. I'm a little freaked out

    Sounds like your boobs are already revving up.  It never happened to me with DD or this pg, but I have heard of many women having this happen.

    okay deep breath... it is fine.  It sounds like it is colostrom.  Perfectly normal.  :)

    It's just colostrum, AKA liquid gold. It's the good stuff baby needs right after birth. Don't worry. Totally normal. I've been leaking it since 16w and it replenishes itself. You're totally fine.

    ha! this was exactly my reaction when I experienced it for the first time, too.

     

    I might note that What to Expect failed to warn me about this occurring (for me around 21 weeks), if I remember right!!!

    The title of your post made me laugh out loud!  That would be the beginnings of colostrum.  Welcome to your new boobs.  That was actually what made me realize that I was pregnant with #2 - with that pregnancy it started around week 5.  Thankfully I still haven't gotten there with this one.
