Quick question about IVF **siggy warning**

I haven't been on the boards here in over a year. Is it normal to go 4 days without monitoring while stimming for IVF? It seems odd to me.

My clinic's standard protocol is first monitoring bloodwork/ultrasound, four days of stims (including that night), then bloodwork on the morning of day 5 of stims (and generally then US on day 7).  So in my experience it's not unusual at all.

Its normal at the beginning of stims - once you get near the end you need to be closely monitored.

This is my current RE's protocol as well....after my appt. on the morning of day 5, then I usually am told to come in 2 days later. After that (day 7) I'm usually on an every day schedule.

Yes. I have DOR and I usually do not get my first monitoring appt until after 4/5 days of stims. I think the norm is typically after 3 days of stims.

In the beginning, I believe it is normal.  I just went in for my baseline today, start stims Friday and don't go back in until Monday for monitoring.  After that will probably be every other day/every day as it gets closer.

My clinic had me come in MWF for bloodwork and U/S while stimming.  I just went through my first cycle so I am not sure if that is the norm.
