I just got a huge box of those mini premade bottles from enfamil, and realized the nipples the hospital gave me are standard flow. When I mix my own formula for DD we use dropins with the slow flow nipple. I know generally the medium flow nipples are for 3 months and up, but DD drinks more and in a shorter amount of time when I use the mini bottles and doesn't spit up. Should I switch to the medium flow nipple with my dropins? Or hold off because she's still so young?
DD1 had major spit up issues so we used slow flow for a long time... For some reason I can't remember anything with DS.
As long as she isn't choking & still breathing well with the medium flow, I (personally) would switch her to the nipple that causes less spit up & gas issues. You could always ask your pedi if you're still uncertain.
