New here, and worried!!!!

HI Ladies, I'm new here,

My husband and I got married (and kicked the birth control)  about 3 years ago. we were doing the if it happens it happens drill, and 6 months in I got preg. then had a miscarriage at 8 weeks. Then we really started trying, temp charting in the morning, OPKs, stopped going out, taking vitamins, the whole nine yards.  Feb 2012 I got another positive test, just to end up having a D&C at 9 weeks.  We started trying again as soon as we could after that.  I've been terrified that there is something wrong with me, and my husband finally convinced me to go to a specialist. I hadn't wanted to go in fear that I would have proof that there is something wrong with me.  But we finally went and I had God knows how much blood drawn from me and am going back for more in a week, along with an ultrasound when I get my Aunt Flow visit.  

There is a patient portal tells me all of my test results as they get them, the one that I am really about is my Anti-Mullerian Hormone (AMH)  was .73, of course I have been using my friend Google to help me understand what everything is telling me, because waiting 3 more weeks until my next consultation seems like forever and a day away.  Everything is saying my eggs are in their early 40s and I am only 25, I am currently freaking out now, not knowing what to think.

    Welcome and I am so sorry for your losses! I am so sorry you have to be here and are going through this. I hope your stay is short. I don't have any input on the AMH level but I wish you luck!.

    Problem: Irregular menstruation, unexplained
    Nov&Dec-Provera because of no period after 35+ days
    First RE appt 1/10/2013
    Tests: TSH (normal), Prolactin (normal), SA (abnormal)
    Hysteroscopy (normal) and PCOS labs (negative/normal) 1/15/2013
    2/1/13- HPT BFP but Beta Hcg was negative
    Plan: Femara + Trigger + IUI in April if no real BFP before then Bloggy Blog!

    Welcome to the board. I'm so sorry for your losses. I don't really have any info on the AMH levels but I'm sure some of the other ladies will.

    Welcome - sorry you have to be here!  I know there are others here with low AMH, so hopefully they'll chime in!

    TTC #1 Since 7/2011

    Me: 30, PCOS with anovulation
    DH: 38, Low Morph & DE
    Rx: Metformin 500mg

    Cycle #1: Clomid 100mg + Ovidrel = No Response, Canceled
    Cycle #2: Clomid 150mg + Ovidrel = No Response, Canceled
    Cycle #3: Clomid 150mg + Follistim + Ovidrel = No response, Canceled

    Cycle #4: Femara 7.5mg + Gonal-f + Ovidrel + IUI = BFP!!!!

    Welcome.

    I have a low AMH, and AFC... But have a normal FSH for now.

    I got my dx of DOR in Nov and it rocked my world for awhile. I do tend to explain it to ppl as my ovaries are in their 40s....

    That said. There is every reason to believe that with some stims and iui you can greatly increase your chances of conceiving. I have seen the scary stats too, but you're not out yet there are lots of options out there to consider before moving on from your own eggs.

    Partner IVF#1a- December 2013 - H's eggs, my Ute - CANCELLED due to low response
    Partner IVF #1b - February 2014 - H's eggs, my Ute - ER February 4 (10 retrieved, 3 fertilized), Transfer Feb 7 of one Grade 1 and one Grade 2 day 3 embryos.  1 - Day 3, Grade 1 frosty saved.   BFP - 6dp3dt via FRER, Beta #1 - 110, Beta #2 175, Beta #3 - 348, Beta #4 - 2222!, Beta #5 - 4255.  Ultrasound (6w1d) - 2 heartbearts!  

    We lost our beautiful Twin baby girls on June 18, 2014.  Tavin Sara and Casey Elizabeth were born at 21 weeks gestation and were absolutely beautiful, precious, amazing babies.  We miss our daughters every day and love them with all our hearts.

    I don't have any advice. I just wanted to say welcome to the board and that I am so sorry for your losses. I hope you have a great consult in a few weeks and that you leave there with a good plan.

    Welcome, and sorry you have to be here. I just had 9 vials of blood taken this morning, so I feel your pain. I'm getting the full run of tests done, and the one I'm nervous about is AMH too. To me, that one is the most scary. Good luck with everything, and I'm sure your doctor will come up with a great plan for you!

    Dx: Feb '13 - HSG shows clear tubes but minor diverticulitis; Borderline DOR; Low DHEA and low testosterone.
    Moving on to IUI or IVF.

    We've got a peen.....it's a boy!

    Welcome to the board! I'm sorry to hear or your losses and I'm also sorry that you are so worried. I hate having to wait on the next appointment when you have way too much time to let fear creep in and Dr. Google really freak you out. I hope you can try to stay positive until you can find out more info from your doctor. Good luck at your next appointment and chat with us as a distraction until then. Smile

    Welcome and I'm sorry for your losses and that you have to be here. I have not been tested for AMH levels yet so I don't know much about it. But I am wondering if after your second m/c they did any tests to find out what the cause was (since you said you had a D&C)?

    We had a non-developing heartbeat with the D&C, they sent it off and the Dr. said it must have just been a bad sperm or egg, (so we kinda just assumed that because we had a SA done a few months prior preg. and we found out that he was a little lower than normal on the results) but besides that he said everything seemed normal.

    I'm very sorry for your losses. I wish you the best on this sometimes tough journey.

    As hard as it is - try not to Dr. Google too much  (yeah I know) - hopefully your results will be better than expected when you sit down with your doctor.
