Hi All,

I'm finally getting around to updating my birth story...Luke Thomas arrived on Saturday Jan 19th at 7:26pm, 8.8 oz, 20 3/4", 3 days before his due date. His birth was exciting because it happened so fast, can you say " rapid delivery"!! I had been having irregular contractions for several days but on Saturday I was trying to wrap up a few things and run errands including getting my nails done. I guess the foot massage hit some pressure points or something because by the time I left the nail salon at 4:30pm my contractions were getting pretty regular. I told DH to get the car seat installed and throw my bag in the car as I started timing my contractions. We had a quick light dinner and by 6:45 my contractions were regular and strong!! Shortly after that my water broke and we were on our way to the hospital. We arrived at the hospital at 7:10pm and there was no time for an epidural, I was 8cm. Within a few minutes I was fully dilated and began pushing, 4 contractions more and Luke was born, a whole 16 min after we arrived at the hospital!! I had not planned on a natural birth, but I did it!

We are home and doing well and I am enjoying my precious LO!!

    Moving on to IVF in July
    37 with DOR...fabulous
    ER 7/14/12 6R 5F, ET 7/17 3 embies, beta #1 7/26: 147, beta #2 7/28: 326, beta#3 7/30: 422...ugh, beta#4 7/31: 607...hopeful, beta #5 8/2: 1280, beta #6 8/7: 7184 and u/s shows 1 possibly 2 sacs! 8/14 2 beautiful heartbeats! 9/24 we are TEAM BLUE!!!!!

    TTC 10/11. IUI 2/12. BFP 3/8/12. 4/26/12 missed mc. RE consult 5/17/12. IVF #1 ER 7/13/12 53R, 41M ICSIed, 32F, 8 5d, 6 6d blasts - all PGD/frozen. PGD results 1 normal M and 1 normal F, 1 maybe M. FET 9/6, transferred 1 F embie. Beta 9/15 BFN. FET#2 planned for 11/2012 put off until 2013. Surprise BFP 11/21/12!! My son was born on 7/24/13!

    FET 4/28/2015 - Transferred 1 M embie. 5/6/15 BFP!
