It's almost here! Anyone have any fun plans?

We'll be staying home. I'm going to make flank steak stuffed with proscuitto and basil, roasted potatoes, and asparagus. And, probably some salted caramel pot de creme for dessert.

If I have my car back by then, I will probably just go to my parents' or my grandma's and see some family with Lena. DH will be working.

I have the day off, so we'll finally be taking DD for her 18-month checkup. I'm thinking that might be the day we announce my pregnancy on facebook too... We made her this adorable Big Sister t-shirt with hearts on it, so I thought it would be kinda sweet to post a pic of her in her new shirt saying happy Valentine's day.

We won't do anything on V-Day (DH teaches a late class that night) but on that Saturday we are going to go to the movies and out to dinner.

I doubt we will do much the actual night, we might try to go for dinner over the weekend. I might try to make something tasty, but probably not this tasty!

I think for the actual day, I'll just cook a special meal for us to eat after DD goes to bed. But the weekend following we are going rock climbing and then out to the Melting Pot to celebrate our anniversary (25 Feb). We figure physical activity will balance out the fondue decadence LOL
