Hi ladies! I'm new here but have been lurking for some time. Decided to take the plunge, wanted to introduce myself and say hi. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for some time now and started seeking help after a year of very irregular cycles. Since then I've had 6 cycles of unmonitored clomid long story, annoying but now we're on the right track...I think...fingers crossed.

I was diagnosed with PCOS multiple times by different obgyns, but my newest isn't completely convinced after running a new series of tests..if anything thin PCOS. We've made some lifestyle changes since my last real workup such as all organic and a paleo diet/lifestyle..maybe thats had an influence?

I had my HSG yesterday apparently no blockage based on a preliminary look by the dr and also went to see my obgyn yesterday cycle day 10.He did an ultrasound as well to see where my follicles were and put me on my first cycle of letrozole.

We'll see what happens...It's kinda exhausting to see everyone around you get pregnant...I'm excited for them but can't help to feel the little green monster of jealousy take over as my tears well up... Maybe I'll feel different when we're blessed with the turn to finally share news like that!

    Sounds like you need to see a RE, not OB for further treatment cycles. 

    ETA- Has your husband had a SA, and have you completed all initial fertility testing?

    TTC since July 2011
    BFP #1: 2/15/12-Ectopic/Mtx at 6 wks
    BFP #2: 10/12/12-m/c at 5 wks. 
    BFP #3: 8/27/13
    Me: MTHFR, Low AMH (1.1), High NK cells and Antiphospholipid Antibodies.
    DH:MFI-Low morph (1%), DNA fragmentation: Excellent!
    5 rounds of clomid, 3 IUIs, and multiple non-medicated cycles- BFFN                                                      
    IVF with ICSI in August 2013 brought us our babies.  ER-9R, 7M, 4F w/ICSI  ET of 2-Grade 2 blasts. 
    + HPT at 6dp5dt. #1 (8dp5dt)- 105    #2 (13dp5dt)- 510  #3 (15dp5dt)- 960  #4 (17dp5dt)- 1889
    Dx shortened cervix, PTL, and preeclampsia during pregnancy.  Lots of medications and 13 weeks of bedrest, babies were born healthy at 34w4d!

    We're planning on seeing an re as our next step...we're already signed up for a seminar at one of the local clinics in a few weeks and I'm going to do the same for another one so we can get a feel for them before committing.

    Yes he has had SA and came back normal...

    As far as initial fertility work up I've had complete blood panels done... One in June an another in early Jan. ultrasounds, husbands SA and an HSG. Is there anything others I am missing?

    welcome, and I am sorry you have to be here. I really hope you see an RE asap and you get a good plan set.I hope your stay here is short.

    Age: Me 26, DH 27, Married Oct. 10, 2009 ,TTC since March 2012
    Problem: Irregular menstruation, unexplained
    Nov&Dec-Provera because of no period after 35+ days
    First RE appt 1/10/2013
    Tests: TSH (normal), Prolactin (normal), SA (abnormal)
    Hysteroscopy (normal) and PCOS labs (negative/normal) 1/15/2013
    2/1/13- HPT BFP but Beta Hcg was negative
    Plan: Femara + Trigger + IUI in April if no real BFP before then Bloggy Blog!

    Beta #1(14dpo)- 94 Beta#2(22dpo)- 1,619 Beta#3 (28dpo)- 11,396!!!

    Intuitive, Thanks for sharing, definitely something for me think about!

    Sorry about the baby dust...newbie mistake. To be honest I always thought it was cheesy but wanted to be polite...I won't let it happen again ;

    Welcome! I'm new here too with the same diagnosis (although now I am wanting to make sure my DHEAS level was checked).  I have switched over to a Paleo diet to try to help with ovulation issues as well.  Haven't noticed any changes yet though.  Hope your stay here is short!

    DH: 38, Low Morph & DE
    Rx: Metformin 500mg

    Cycle #1: Clomid 100mg + Ovidrel = No Response, Canceled
    Cycle #2: Clomid 150mg + Ovidrel = No Response, Canceled
    Cycle #3: Clomid 150mg + Follistim + Ovidrel = No response, Canceled

    Cycle #4: Femara 7.5mg + Gonal-f + Ovidrel + IUI = BFP!!!!
