I am currently 13 weeks with what they are calling spontaneous identical triplets.. i am super excited and nervous all at the same time. Everyone is telling me because im small ill probably be put on bed rest early. I was wondering if anyone can share what week they went to before put on bed rest or possibly positive stories of no bed rest and delievering at a healthy week
Thank you so much !!
Re: BED REST ..when did you go out?
I'm currently 31w6d with triplets and not on bedrest. I did put a cot in my office during early 2nd Tri so that I could lie down when needed, then cut my hours around 24wks. At 29 wks I started working mainly from home, going into the office 2 days per week for only a couple of hours each time. At this point, even without mandatory bed rest, my body can't handle doing much more than lying in bed or sitting in the recliner. So far, knock on wood, I've had no complications other than hyperthyroid and high BP, which were both regulated with medications during early 2nd Tri.
Best of luck to you!

My twins are nice and big, but I have a petite frame. I went on bedrest at 28 weeks. I'm almost at 31 weeks. Bedrest sucks, but it's helped keep my uterus quiet and my cervix hasn't shortened further.
FWIW, I have two friends who are tiny and they never went on bedrest with their twin pregnancies. Everyone is different.
