Diapers

I've used Pampers Swaddlers since my son was born, but now he's moving a lot more; crawling, pulling himself up, etc. What do you recommend for going into Size 3? Should I stick with Swaddlers or have you all had better luck with something else? He doesn't have too much of a problem with blowouts or anything. The only difference is he's sometimes wet at night when he has a full diaper. Do you use different diapers at night?

Re: Diapers

  • We use Huggies Overnights. I did notice that it lessens the chance that his pjs will be wet in the morning, but he does occasionally leak. DS is not crawling yet so no recommendation there.

  • We use Pampers Baby Dry. DD1 is a heavy wetter and DD2 is following in her big sister's footsteps. We've tried MANY diapers (including cloth) and those contain her pee the best. Plus, they're cheaper than Swaddlers or Cruisers.

  • We have a heavy night wetter too. We've been using Luvs diapers almost since he was born. They seem to hold a lot. Sometimes he'll leak at night but most nights he's fine and it holds. We tried Huggies overnights but I personally didn't notice a difference then Luvs. We love them. And their cheap at Walmart.

  • We used swaddlers for our little guy too! When he started moving more we switched to pampers cruisers and Luvs (both are working great for us!).  We have been putting a pampers swaddeler on him overnight as we felt they absorb more during teh night, but if we forget and use a cruiser or a luvs it does the job too!  We just had extra swaddelers to get rid of LOL....

  • We have always have good luck with Huggies or the Kirkland/Costco brand of diapers.

When he starts leaking overnight we usually move up to the next size and it works great.

Even with my toddler - he wears size 5 during the day, but a Huggies size 6 at night.

This exactly for us, although DS is ALMOST crawling!!!  I may just do the Luvs once we go up to size 3, as I've heard great things ;)

We use these too. The Baby Dry are great but we do use the pampers overnights for nighttime. Our LO is in size 4 but for overnights we go a size up just be careful!

  • We use the walmart brand "white cloud" they hold a lot and are inexpensive

  • We use Luvs (have tried others but they'd leak). Luvs will seem real full sometimes after 11 hours of sleep in them but never one leak.

  • we use Swaddlers size 3. It works so well, I don't want to play with it. If I change, I will try Cruisers.

  • For my son, we went to Pampers Baby Dry when he was in size 3.  But he started to leak when he was in size 4, so we switched to Huggies Snug n Dry.

With my daughter, we are using Pampers Swaddlers and Baby Dry for size 3 diapers.  And we are trying the Huggies Snug n Dry in size 3 as well.

We did use Huggies Overight diapers as well for my son.

  • I love Pampers Baby Dry. I love swaddlers but I feel like they saturated with pee all the time. We don't change DD's diaper in the middle of night so she will go about 8-10 hours in the same diaper -- unless she poops. I feel that baby dry absorbs the best, wicks away the pee.

    I hated huggies.

Never tried others but we will try luvs as soon as we run out of all the pampers we have.
