Shoes!

A coworker just said no shoes on babies who can't walk because it can stunt their foot growth. Any truth to this? It's freezing and here and I alwys put shoes on my LO, when heading out the door.

I put shoes (some Robeez boots I got on babysteals.com) on LO when we go out because it is too cold to be barefoot and her most favorite thing to do is to pull socks off IMMEDIATELY and either throw them or suck on them.  When we are around the house, I just let her go without.

Soft soled shoes for warmth are fine.

Bare feet for playing and mobility is best. It is best for babies to learn to crawl, stand, walk, etc in bare feet. That may be what she's getting at.

i use botties to keep his feet warm when we are out.

This. When I do put on shoes DD wears Robeez or other soft soled shoes.
