leap day babies

So I was wondering how you felt with your baby born on leap day? My DD was born 6:26 pm on Feb 28 and I just know I really wanted her out by midnight. I wanted her to have an actual bday on the calendar each year. How did you feel?

I was trying my hardest to have her out before midnight.  I went in on the 27th( my due date) but she wasnt born until 1231 am on the 29th, so I almost made it lol.  It kind of stinks not having an actual birthday on the non leap year years, but that just means we can make her birthdays every four years extra special :).

We had hoped that DD would have the leap day, and that's what she ended up with. So we feel pretty happy about it. There are quite a few people in DH's family that have leap day birthdays, and they seem to think their own birthdays are pretty cool. I could think of worse days to be born on for sure.

This made me laugh because DD was born on Valentine's Day.  I was a little disappointed about it, but then my SIL pointed out that her birthday is Christmas Eve!  Valentine's Day is nothing compared to Christmas Eve!  :)
