Okay here is some PIP overload for you ladies. (this is what happens when you don't post any pics for weeks )
The crib and dresser/changing table are ready (butterflies, dragonflies, flowers, pink & purple is the theme, lol), I have all of Lily's cloth diapers washed and ready, I have a stockpile of NB and 0-3 month clothes that were hand-me-downs from a friend all washed, sorted and put away.... the only other vital thing we need is to buy a car seat and install the bases. Everything else on our to-do list are smaller things. I'm 28 weeks now and passed my glucose test yesterday, hired a doula and feeling a bit less panicked now that some of the bigger things are checked off!
ETA, Crap, sorry they're huge. Trying to make them smaller in Photobucket

9 weeks 1 day. No bump yet and I think some of the bloat is finally gone. I was able to pick up the heartbeat on my home doppler the other day so that is an awesome milestone. My next u/s is tomorrow and I'm hoping we'll get to see some real movement.
On the not so fun side, it is only a matter of time before I go to pick something up off the floor and end up stuck. I've done fine so far but it is already time to call the OB for a physical therapy referral to help my sciatica.

PgAL/PAL Welcome
Ahh...I finally get to share an update....although not a good one. I was admitted to the hospital yesterday morning for extremely high blood pressure and difficulty breathing with major swelling in the legs and feet. Turns out I may have preeclampsia but are still running tests on me this morning still Well, if worse comes to worse she is going to be born extremely early or I will get bed rest for the next 6 weeks. I am hoping for the bed rest since I am not ready for her to make her appearance yet. No pic since I look like hell this morning! LOL. Always keeping my fingers crossed for all you lovely ladies to get your BFP soon!
Boo Pre-E. Hoping that you get bed rest and keep the little girl cooking for at least another 3 weeks. If it makes you feel better, I had my girls at 34w4d and they did amazing. They were in the hospital for 4weeks as growers/feeders. FX you don't have to go through that though.
33w4d today. Holy cow! Not much to report. Growth scan is Monday, 2/4. I am measuring a smidge big. James's nursery is pretty much complete - just need a few more items and need to commit to furniture placement so that I can hang things on the wall. I even have my hospital bag planned. Still cannot believe he's coming so soon!
On another note, I am going to be an aunt again. My sister is pregnant. We will have babies about 6 months apart! Anyone on my FB, please don't say anything on my public wall, as she is not out with her pregnancy yet.
Here I am at 33 weeks exactly.

Wow, I actually get to play early this week. Charlie is fast asleep in his PnP and I have the energy to get my computer out! Charlie is just perfect, we are so in love with him. I can't believe he is 12 days old already! As promised last week, here is the shortened (as much as possible) birth story for Charlie:
Tues, Jan 15th
5:15 pm - we checked into L&D, ate dinner, and had my cervical Foley placed (the Foley started "working" immediately as it made me have insane back labor from the moment they put it in)
Wed, Jan 16th
Midnight - Could not sleep due to the intense back pain, so took Ambien. I remember thinking "when is this going to work??" and the next thing I knew, the nurse was waking me up to check on the cervical cath.
6:00 am - Cath was ready to come out, so the nurse pulled it out. 3cm dilated, 50% effaced.
7:15 am - IV and pitocin level 2 started. The pitocin was upped by 2 until 8:45am where it reached 10.
9:30 am - 4cm, still 50%, -3 station. The doctor wanted to break my water, so I opted for the epi first. The intern who placed the epi did it incorrectly (which I would find out later). He had to place it 2x bc the first time he hit a blood vessel. He decided he could use the same hole to try again. Getting the epi was very painful.
10:45 am - Pitocin lowered from 10 to 6 bc contrax were too close
12:00 pm - 4cm, 75%, -2 station
2:20 pm - 6cm, 90%, -1 station
3:40 pm - 7cm, 90%, 0 station. Had an epi boost bc I was starting to feel more than I liked.
4:15 pm - 8cm, 100%, 0 station
5:45 pm - stubborn Charlie started being stubborn. His heart rate started dropping so they had me change sides and gave me oxygen.
6:30 pm - Between 5:45 and now Charlie kept having decels. They had already completely turned off the pitocin trying to reduce the stress on him, but it wasn't helping. I held it together for the first 2 instance, but by the 3rd instance, I was bawling (which I'm sure didn't help keep my oxygen up). I was so scared that we were going to lose him. I just wanted him out and to be able to see that he was perfect and hold him.
At this point, I was checked again and had not made any more progress and due to Charlie not tolerating labor well, the dr gave me until 7:30 pm or we would need to consider "other options."
7:30 pm - I was close enough to pushing (the doc had to help a small lip of my cervix, but other than that we were ready). So I started pushing. By this point, I was exhausted and nauseous. I had already had 2 bags of Zofran to combat the nausea.
9:45 pm - After over 2 hours of pushing the doc let me know that we needed to do a C-Section. He said due to my failure to progress and Charlie not tolerating the contrax or pushing, we needed to get him out then. I had mentally prepared for a C-Section just in case (he had measured 2 weeks ahead at all the u/s, so I wanted to be prepared to deliver any way possible). I was still scared. Suddenly people started coming in the room to prepare things (I guess?) and the next thing I knew I was being wheeled down the hall.
In the operating room there were probably 15 people. I've had a few surgeries before and knew what to expect, but this was completely different. I tried to stay strong, but ended up starting to cry while they were prepping me and MH was out in the hall. One of the nurses calmed me and then MH appeared. I was so exhausted at this point that things start to get a little fuzzy. This is what I remember: They cut me open and I could feel way more than I should've been able to (cue improperly placed epi). They pulled Charlie out and there were no sounds. They did a "drive by" of Charlie who was gray and limp. Then I woke up in recovery.
What MH fills in for me: After they quickly showed him to us, the immediately took him to his table and tried to wake him up. First it was one nurse calling him out by name, then 2, then 5. At the same time, my doc realized I could feel too much and said they were going to knock me out so they could finish up without me feeling it. After about 5 min, they got Charlie breathing and crying. They brought MH over to see him, and that's when he decided he didn't need to breathe again. MH said they were picking up his arm and it was just limp and would fall back down again. He started turning gray/blue and one of the nurses quickly ushered MH out of the OR. After some amount of time (I have no idea, and I don't remember what he said), they came out and told him that I was going to recovery and that Charlie had been taken to the NICU. He ended up having to stay there until mid- morning the next day.
In recovery, the nurse told me that I had to have a pain scale of 4 or less to go to my room. I knew Charlie was in the NICU at this point (someone told me, I have no idea who), but I couldn't comprehend it I guess. When she would ask me my pain score, I was trying to keep it low so that I could go hold my Charlie. I ended up feeling everything as the drugs they had given me earlier wore off and having no drugs in recovery bc I kept telling her it only hurt at a "2." That's when I realized the cycle of excrutiating pain makes you cry hysterically, which makes your recently split open abdomen hurt more, which makes you scream more, etc. They finally got the pain under control after 3 rounds of Phentnyl and Delotidid (sp?). At that point, they couldn't release me to my room bc my breathing had slowed too much. We finally got to our room about 2:30 ish Thurs morning I think.
Sorry for the novel, but I'm finally just getting around to writing this. I ended up having some PP anxiety/depression issues starting around the day I was discharged (4 days PP) and *thankfully* only lasted about 5 days. Those days were extremely tough.
As of now Charlie loves to eat (boob and bottle). We had to start supplementing during the time I was have PPA/PPD issues due to my supply starting to dry up. Luckily, he's had no issues going between the breast and the bottle. He hates having his diaper and/or clothes changed. It's so fun to watch him grow and change every day.
Edited: Holy crap that is long.

No new bump pic, it's not more than last week. But we had an ultrasound last Wednesday at 15w4d and found out (pretty certainly, see pic below) that it's a boy! I tried not to get myself too excited that we could find out because I knew it was so early, but it was pretty clear my child has a penis.
This is a butt shot, one leg going straight up and the other going straight out to the left. And his little (or big, I guess) wang in between. I asked DH how sure he wanted to be before we told people the sex, and afterward he like "uhhh, ya, there was no mistaking that."
Coming up next is another doctors appointment on 2/11 and then another ultrasound to see more on 2/20. Good luck to all the TTGP folks!
HOLY COW! That's a crazy story! So glad to hear that you and Charlie are doing well! I'm sorry about everything you had to go through! Charlie is ah-dor-ah-ble!!!

Um, so we're great over here! Rowan will be 5 months old on Valentine's Day, which blows my mind. He's rolling over in both directions. I noticed him trying to grab his feet last night, so that's new! He likes to try to touch all over my face when I talk to him...so sweet.
Being a mommy is super fun. He's so sweet, even if he is a huge amount of work. Haha. Sorry I've been so bad about posting here! I'll post a good pic next week when I'm not mobile bumping.

Aww hang in there kitton! You're so close to being term. My LO was born at 34w4d (what you are now) and he's doing amazing. Obviously you want her to stay in as long as possible, but I'm just giving you hope in case that doesn't work out. My water broke at 34w and I was petrified. It's such an uncertain thing having a baby pre-term, so I know how scared you must be.
Sending positive thoughts your way. PM me on the Sept 12 board if you ever need anything!
Toni-- I didn't know we had our kids at the exact same gestional age! Mine were 34w4ders too.
I'm such a creeper on this thread, because I don't know any of the ladies posting. But - I just wanted to say you are all glowing and look fantastic! And the babies... ohmygosh! Adorable.

Yep! My water broke at 34w1d, but he didn't come until 34w4d. Or crap maybe it was 34w3d?! I dunno. They still have no clue why he came early.
Back from my appt and u/s. Everything looked great and we have one healthy little bean in there (I made her double check that there was only one because I was paranoid). My EDD got moved up a few days so it's now 8/30. Here is Munchkin 2.0:
I had my dating ultrasound yesterday, and baby is measuring 10 weeks with a heartbeat of 152. We could see the heartbeat and little hands and feet. It was pretty amazing.
I don't have a PIP because I can't find the cord to connect my phone to my computer. If I find it, I'll edit this post later.
Hallo--- starting to get tired and energy is low. Trying to keep up the exercise and eating healthy... bloat is big time. Cramps here and there, and I think my bobs are getting fuller (I shoudl ask DH LOL!)
They pulled Charlie out and there were no sounds. They did a "drive by" of Charlie who was gray and limp. Then I woke up in recovery.

WOW! How scary and intense all of that is- i am so glad that it all worked out okay and you are both on the road to settling in. PPA/PPD is rough, so also glad you're weathering it okay.
I don't have a bump worthy of sporting, but I do have an u/s pic! It's a little old, because I can never post on this thread before it gets humongous, but I figure I'll just post it anyways. This is from 8 weeks:
We have our 12 week scan next Tuesday, can't wait. Currently I'm trying to kick a cold, but I think I see the light at the end of the tunnel from my view on the sofa.
It's great to see all the bumps and babies! Everyone looks so beeeyouteeful.

Toni-- I didn't know we had our kids at the exact same gestional age! Mine were 34w4ders too.
You're adorable.

Yep! My water broke at 34w1d, but he didn't come until 34w4d. Or crap maybe it was 34w3d?! I dunno. They still have no clue why he came early.
They are both adorable - love the siggy pic!
Back from my appt and u/s. Everything looked great and we have one healthy little bean in there (I made her double check that there was only one because I was paranoid). My EDD got moved up a few days so it's now 8/30. Here is Munchkin 2.0:
Yay! Congrats, Kestock
I am so late this week!
Now, I'm off to read everyone else's updates
WOW! How scary and intense all of that is- i am so glad that it all worked out okay and you are both on the road to settling in. PPA/PPD is rough, so also glad you're weathering it okay.
Hello lovely TTGP ladies!
Still stalking the TTGPers, and rooting for youse. ::Muah::
