making invitations- tips?

Anyone have advice for designing 1st birthday invitations?  I tried looking on Etsy and other sites but not finding anything that I like.

The theme of DD's party is going to be Sugar and Spice and Everything Nice.  I'm hoping to include one photo of DD, preferably with a cake/cupcake on the design and predominantly in pink.  Does anyone have any suggestions if they have designed their own invitations?  I've obviously procrastinated so am trying to get these done in the next day or two.  Thanks!

Have you found any designers you like on Etsy? I know you haven't found the exact design, but I bet someone could whip up a custom order for you easily!

I bought DS's invites from her: https://www.etsy.com/shop/PartyInvitesAndMore then I had them printed at Wal-mart.

I made Aria's invites in power point, and it was pretty easy. I just found an invite idea [from Tinyprints, actually] that I liked and used it for inspiration. Google is pretty helpful with clip art and designs and such.

I'll have them printed at Walmart.

Eta: I've been waiting to get her first birthday pictures back to add them to the invite... But now that they're back I've got a totally new idea. So, back to the drawing board, I suppose!
