I was reading through your previous post about your ILs acknowledging how difficult Aidan is for you. How awesome is that BTW!! Anyway, wanted to share some things with you.
1. I know exactly how hard it is to have a screaming, crying baby while also having a toddler. It's hard as a$$!! I nearly was committed those 1st 6 months because DS just would.not.stop!!
2. L had a MSPI, and severe reflux. He was FTT because of it. No one believed me. He had no blood in his stool at all. His pedi accused me of just not feeding him. I videoed him screaming during feelings and then the screaming afterwards. That finally got me an appt with a pediatric GI specialist. He said that most MSPI babies have blood in there stool but SOME do not. L didn't not, but he still had an allergy. Even Alimentum didn't work for him. He had to go on a hypoallergenic formula (Neocate). He was not even 12lbs at 6 months. His Neocate formula combined with Zantac 3 times a day AND Nexium 1 time a day was the only way my boy survived. Without it he was wasting away and not thriving.
3. There's hope!! My boy is the happiest, sweetest boy ever! It wasn't until 14 months that we finally got him to even STTN 1 time. He's still prissy compared to his sister and a big sissy sometimes, but he's so happy and loving. He's sleeping and we are finally sleeping and life has gotten easier!
It will get better! I think 4 months in to 2u2 was when I hit a wall. I was exhausted and just didn't want to continue some days because I was so.freakin'.tired!!
Sorry if this was annoying. I really just feel for you and I feel like I can share some wisdom I learned last year.
