I need a vent!

6 weeks ago, my hubby and I moved to South Carolina. We are out in the sticks, might I add. And had a very difficult time finding a rental here. Well, we settled on a cute little house built in the 1940s. The past couple weeks it has been very rainy, and unfortunately, this weekend the roof started leaking. My hubby and the Realtor who we rent through climed up in the attic to look at how bad it was....and found black mold! Now we will be moving again.... this makes move #4 in 27 months for me! I just want to scream!

That sucks! Thank goodness it's just a rental! Hopefully your next one will be a keeper! What part of the state are you in?

That's so true! We're in Kershaw. (Lancaster county...about an hour south of Charlotte, NC). Are you in SC too??

That sucks! It's a good thing you found it now. Black mold can be very dangerous especially for DD!

We're in Charleston...we also had black mold in our house when we bought it so I completely get it!

You are so right Elle! And, on the bright side, I'm not done unpacking here yet....so that's less re-packing, right?

Numberonemama... it's really nice to hear someone else has been there! So sorry you had to deal with it too!
