Introduction

Hi everyone,

My DH and I have been TTC for 17 months now....we have a 2.5 year old daughter and we were diagnosed with Unexplained Secondary Infertility.   We have both done allll the testing and keep coming up with nothing wrong.  I got pregnant with our daugther the very first try.

So far we have tried 1 IUI and I am currently on my third month of Clomid.  The RE says one more Clomid cycle and that's it for me. 

Just wanted to introduce and say hi!!

I'm sorry to you too. It's an awful thing to deal with.

What injectible are you going to try next?  My RE recommended we start something after my next Clomid cycle but I am hesitant.

Hi & welcome  I am also brand new here.

DD is 4 years old & DH and I have been TTC #2 for over 2 years now.  We kind of just figured it would happen whenever it was meant to because we too were able to conceive the first time around immediately.

We started finally fertility treatments in December & I'm also on my third cycle of Clomid now.  

They are giving me the option of one more month of Clomid vs. injectables next.

gennyu:  I didn't realize the risk of multiples was much higher w/injectables?  Sigh; I'm still so new at all of this.

Welcome, and I hope your stay is short! We've been ttc our 3rd for about a year and a half now after having no problems with my daughters that are now 4 and 2.5. Just had our first failed clomid cycle so we are increasing to 100mg and crossing our fingers. It's such a frustrating journey that no one ever expects to find themselves on!

Welcome to the board! I just recently introduced myself and joined in as well.

We're in cycle #18 TTC #2. We got pg on cycle #10 with DD, so we expected it to possibly take a while but we weren't expecting anything to be wrong. We just had our first IUI last Wednesday, this is my second cycle on Letrozole. We have no plans for IVF either, but hopefully will still have a few more IUI tries before having to move on.

Hi and welcome. I'm also fairly new to the board. Our DS is nearly 4 and we have been trying for 2.5 years for a second. Not terribly surprising for us to need treatment as we did clomid with iui for our DS as well. We've done 2 rounds clomid and iui and I have just started gonalf for this cycle. Welcome! I hope your stay is short. I have been on this board for 6 months. TTC 2 since Jan 2011. Our DD is 4.
This journey is rough. The ladies here are great. What helps me is having a plan to focus on. We are moving and then we will do IVF.

Sorry for what you are going through, I'm fairly new here as well wth a 5 year old DS.  we've been trying for about 2 years with one m/c in there and two times we had to stop so I could have fibroids removed.  Finally got on track and just did our first IUI with Clomid this month, I'm in the 2ww.....I hope your stay here is short!!

Hi and Welcome! I'm fairly new here too. DD is 3.5 & we've been trying for #2 for over 2 years. I just kept thinking it would happen next cycle since we conceived DD first cycle after m/c. I'm in the 2ww waiting for my next cycle to start so I can get all the standard tests done to see if there's a reason for our IF.

Thanks for all of your welcomes and stories ladies! It's easier to see other people dealing with this, although I wouldn't wish it on anyone! I hope we can all hang out for the smallest amount of time possible. It's shocking to me to see how many women have been trying for 1.5-2+ YEARS. It's such a crazy rollercoaster to be on. We are nervous to try injectibles because of the multiples factor as well. We only REALLY want ONE more baby. hehe. So...we shall see.
