Ok ladies sorry if this is a stupid question but I'm not sure.

I took a test waited about a minute or two didn't get a second line. About 30 minutes go by and now there's two dark lines does this mean I'm ovulating? The directions say not to read results after 30 minutes.

Any advice?

i always found that if my opk was going to be positive it was almost immediately, even though the directions say to read after 5 mins.  I wouldnt trust it to mean that you are ovulating from the results you got after 30 mins.  good luck!

Those things are a total PITA. Follow the directions exactly so you can be sure. Mine always said to read the results right at 5 minutes, but not any later.

Also, if you get a positive OPK it doesn't mean you are ovulating. It means you are having a LH surge, which happens before you ovulate. If you get a positive you will likely be ovulating within the next 24-36 hours, but some women gear up to O and then don't. The only way to confirm ovulation for sure is to chart your temps or to have bloodwork done.

Thanks everyone for your advise I retested and I didn't get two lines so ill keep testing.
