Your baby is the size of...

I am obviously a bit bored by the 2 posts back to back...DD is napping and I am too lazy to clean right now! But anyways... remember the tracker that would tell you how big your baby was when you were pregnant! Well how about now. What is something that you baby is the same size as now? My DD is the same size as my King charles Cavalier  right now! I would post a picture if I could figure it out!

Love those sweet dogs!! My extended family has had them for years! We've had the tri colour, Blenheim and white and ruby and I can't decide which is the cutest! What colour do you have??

Blenheim! She is our first Cavalier and we adore her. We got her through rescue so she was somewhere between 4 and 6 when we got her about 2 years ago. She was a puppy mill rescue and was terrified and not house trained at all! She has come so far! She is about 99% house trained and so sweet! Although still a bit shy at times she is way more outgoing then before. I also have a boxer and she takes her cues from my boxer. So when we go out and about if the boxer ( Roxanne) thinks life is good than so does the cavalier ( Raina)!

Amazing! Good for you for going with a rescue. They are definitely a good breed choice for that. In my experience, they are always a little shy. It's sweet that she takes cues from your boxer. My cousin's CKCS is in the process of becoming a therapy dog. He is the sweetest thing. His little face looks like an old man's! The only reason I wound up with a Boston Terrier and not a Cav is because DH said they are way too hairy. I think I'll fight harder next time!

My boxer is a certified therapy dog! Although I have not done much with it. I have always had short hair dogs so with was a change for me! I will admit I do the breed standard no no and get her clipped sometimes. I always keep her feet trimmed too! In the really hot parts of summer she gets clipped too. She has a very bad heart and minds the heat a lot! So I try and keep her cool for that reason.

Lol!!! I haven't gone in for his 6 month yet but I'm guessing about the same just longer since he was 28 inches at his 4 month.

  • For thanksgiving Amir was bigger than our turkey. The turkey was 11, at his 4 month appt he was 17 lb 3 oz. Now I'm sure he's bigger than the ham. It was 18...we really like ham lol.

  • I'll jump on the turkey bandwagon. He's 19lbs and 27" at 5mo. Gulp. This child is going to be bigger than me before he's one.
