....that moment when you get to work and realize that in your delirious, sleep deprived state you forgot to bring your glasses with you when you rushed out the door at 5 AM so you could get off work early to take your 3 1/2 month old baby in for his follow-up appointment to find out whether or not he has whooping cough. 

I think it's going to be one of those days.....

Also, universe, the irony is not lost on me that I demanded everyone around me get updated shots and my child possibly got whooping cough anyway.  Andplusalso, also, the fact that at my anatomy scan the tech told me that the fact that I had placenta previa could result in me bleeding to death while giving...and then I almost bled to death while giving birth even though the previa resolved....
