I don't want to go to work tomorrow!

I don't want to go to work tomorrow!

But I also don't want to give up the money from my job, hahaha. DD was really easy this weekend and so adorable. I am loving this stage so much more than newborn. I know working is the best choice for my family for now at least, but still makes me sad.

  • I feel you. I find out tomorrow if I got hired at my new job and I have to say a big part of me is sad about the idea of going back to work...but another part of me is excited to be making money again.

  • It was so much easier when she was a colicky mess who took 40 minutes to nurse. Now that she's fun on occasion and can eat in under 20 minutes the days at home are much more fun!

Good luck on the offer Norry! It will be nice to have something in hand to make a decision.

Thank you! It would really be a good thing if I got the job, we could use the money as much as I'd love to stay home, it's not feasible right now.

  • Pre-baby I was so sure I'd never want to be a SAHM. Now I'm the complete opposite and wish I didn't have to work. Even though the last few days have been acomplete mess b/c E has been so unbelievably fussy, today was the hardest day in a while to leave him at daycare. However, my student loan debt isnt going to magically disappear, so to work I go.

  • It's not so bad.  I've been back 3 weeks, and it just makes my time at home with DDD1 and DD2 that much more special. Plus it's nice to be out in the world. interacting with people.
