Be prepared for some random thoughts....

So I am so happy about today!  I keep lurking on IF reading about the other women and when they are going to POAS.  I have decided I don't want to do it too early this time, so when did you get your BFP and the rest of our crew?  Help me do the math bc I am so nervous.  12dpo?

Also, congrats on your last shot!!!  I was lurking on PGAIF, I was going to ask you where you will be hanging out, bc I will need to check up on you!  Tho I like you to be around here a little longer!!  I want to know if you have a little boy or girl in there!!  I am sure you would say healthy, but if you had to pick....what would you pick or your DH?  

Also, can I say that I didn't realize how recent your IVF#1/DD is/was until you put up the ticker!!  I am guessing this is bc of your age? Do you mind my nosiness?? I am surprised I missed this till now!

I got my first +HPT at 10dpo and the second at 11dpo (used crappy IC's until then, so might have been earlier again, but no way to know), so I would recommend waiting until at least 10dpo, longer if you can't stand to see a negative.  I think most people had there's by 12dpo.  I am eagerly anticipating your results, as soon as you're willing to start checking!

I'll be sticking around as long as you need me, hoping that won't be more than a few days though!  We don't know what we're having yet, but hoping to do the Maternit21 test when I go to the MFM a week from tomorrrow, and to have an answer a week or two after that.  DH prefers a girl, but can see some pros to a boy (can do his limited "guy stuff" with him).  I wanted a boy until DD, but now am hoping for another girl, more for logistics than anything else, not to mention how wonderful DD has been so far.  We have all the girl stuff and the new house has the kids rooms connected by a bathroom, so it would be much easier.  That being said, I'd totally be fine with a boy.  I'm kinda thinking it might be a boy since I've been feeling totally different, m/s hit or miss for the most part,  vs every day til 10-11am and then again at night, and different 1st tri cravings: wanted sweets with DD, want salty foods with this one.  So, we'll see soon.

Yes, we are going very close, and yes due to my age.  Both my RE and OB highly recommended getting started before turning 40.  Since that is just 5 weeks away today, it really didn't leave much time.  As I said, DD has been wonderful so far, so even if #2 isn't quite as easy, at least I take comfort in the fact that DD should be reliable (I hope she stays good!).  I probably wouldn't have tried for 2U2 otherwise, but now that I am about to do it, I am prepared for the first year to kinda suck in terms of work, and then hoping they become close and entertain each other.

I took down DD's ticker, because I was posting on IF a lot, and it was easier, and I figured when successful I'd put them both up.  I want to wait a few more weeks before I put up #2's ticker (after I get results back).  I was so paranoid with DD, I never put one up until she was a few months old.

Feel free to ask anything else, I'm a pretty open book. If I don't want to answer something I'll let you know.
