Just complaining...

  1. I am working 6 days straight at work. The full time decorator is on vacation.  I'm on day 4 and my foot hurts so bad.  I dropped a 5 gallon bucket full of chocolate dip on it Friday and it is all swollen and scraped, Standing on it for 8 hour shifts sucks.Crying
  2. I'm done with winter.
  3. I'm already tired of this bathroom renovation and were are still just in the demolition stage.
  4. I still have a pound to lose for dietbet and we are starting a new cupcake line at work  so we are suppose to make new formulas.  It has been so hard resist trying them.  we made an Almond Joy cupcake that looks to die for.

Please feel free to b!tch along with me.

Re: Just complaining...

  • I'm sorry about your foot- ouch!! Winter has placed cabin fever in full effect around here.  We're looking at freezing rain tomorrow, which is the worst part of winter around here.  I have worked my AZZ off for dietbet, but I won't make it.  I have leveled out, and because I have a cold, it doesn't look like I can hit they gym hard to make up for it. I could really go for a cupcake right now.

I am so far behind on laundry, it's not funny.  It's in our basement, where I did have an area where Nora could play while I folded.  Now, she can climb the furniture and escape to the remaining part of the basement.  I don't want her around the rest of the basement because a) my dog leaves hair everywhere and I'm too lazy to vacuum it every day b) not all of the basement is fully baby proofed 4) the steps leading to the top floor have a few steps not joined to the wall, so a baby gate won't protect her from potentially falling down those steps.  Our hallway is too wide to put a gate up before the steps too.

    ICE STORM!

MH grew up in Iowa so we visit at least once a year to see grandparents. He grew up in Van Meter just about 20? miles west of Des Moines on off I80.Home of Bob feller(I know you are impressed)

One year we got stuck in an ice storm.  Our normal trip is about 4 hours it took 10 to get home.  It was the most stressful trip ever.   Iowa freeways are pretty flat especially northern Iowa.   We had to gun it to get up these slight hills.  Our car antenna had a three in circumference of ice on it.  We almost called it quits.  Once we crossed the border though all snow!

I would take a snowstorm any day over an ice storm.  Stay safe!

  • Ice sucks, and it happens a lot around here since it's a little warmer than up north.  It's scary, because there is no control when ice is down.  I hope it doesn't end up too bad, but I'm glad it's a light travel day for most people.

  • Penny, I am so sorry you are having a rough time. I hope your foot heals up quickly and I can only imagine how painful that would be. Bathroom renovations suck too and we did ours the month DS was conceived. Hopefully, you can get it over with soon. Don't worry about your 1 lb...I am sure you will make your goal and even if you don't losing weight is very hard and I am proud of you for losing some no matter the number!

Hang in there Mama and I hope things will get better very soon! Hugs to you!

  • Penny, I am sorry. That foot sounds like it needs some ice and I hope it heals quickly.
    Bathroom renovations... Yuck!!!

    My gripe?
    Meh
The Sens have three home games this week and DH is working all of them. Generally a great thing, but those days i am completely alone all day from 10 to 1. Add in my teething toddler, my colicky baby and another clogged duct and I am ready to drown myself in a bucket.
Yay me. First game is tomorrow.

    2. I'm done with winter. You should live in WA.  It's very pretty here and winter doesn't suck like it does in MN
    3. I'm already tired of this bathroom renovation and were are still just in the demolition stage. I'm sorry :(
