Hey guys, I'm pretty Catholic, which is the only reason I know this. And I know many people are not at all religious so this may not be helpful to you at all. But any help with getting pregnant is worth telling other folks in the same situation, right?
Anyway, someone from my church knows what my husband and I are going through, but she was hesitant to come to me directly. So instead she went to my mom and gave her a medal of St. Gerard that had two prayers attached to it.
The first prayer is for expectant mothers (so clearly, that didn't apply to me and I immediately assumed this woman was a looney). But then I flipped it over and it also had a prayer for women trying to become pregnant. Apparently, St. Gerard is the patron saint of expectant mothers and women longing to conceive.
So if you want a little extra "help," start praying to St. Gerard!
Lord knows I've been wearing my new medal... of course now my husband is all weirded out because I wear it during sex and he asked me if he had to stare at a saint every time now. LOL.
I don't mean to offend anyone or preach to anyone. Just thought for those of you interested, this might be of some value.
Good luck ladies...

LOL.... I hear ya, sister. Been praying every day since I learned about St. Gerard. But even before that.... you pray and pray and pray. Some of our prayers came true (after one HORRIBLE SA we got a "good" SA 6 weeks later) but the big prayers hasn't come true yet.
Maybe we need to try another language?
Amen to that, girl. Someone passed around a fertility statue at work one day for giggles. But I wasn't laughing. I was trying to figure out how to sneak it out of there and bring it home! LOL
I so would have put it in my purse!

DH is Greek Orthodox se we've got St. Anna here too. Although my background is hispanic so I've got Our Lady of Guadalupe too. I figure they'll understand and work together on this one.
As soon as I told my dad that we were TTC and having trouble his wife brought home the St. Gerard prayer card to give me to. I didn't know there was a medal and I'm sure she didn't know either or I would have had one lol. I was raised catholic and married catholic, but I am not big into church and we rarely go. I did however put the prayer card on my night stand and have said the prayer a few tiimes...
Both of our families are very catholic. FIL is a deacon and my dads wife went to school to become a nun, but at the last minute decided it wasn't for her. So I'm sure poor St. Gerard has heard enough about me lol.
