Its a slow day, so I stole this from sept 12 board.
GTKY - DH or SO version.
1. What does DH do around the house to help out? Do you wish he did more?
2. What does DH do for a living?3. Name something that you can do very easily, that DH has a difficult time doing.
Re: GTKY - DH or SO
1. Hmm...he takes out the trash when I ask, and he'll vacuum if I ask. He's not much for housework
2. He works at a hedge fund; he's a portfolio manager/strategist (took me almost 5 years to figure out what he actually does all day).
3. finding anything! He'll open the fridge and say we're out of milk when there's a carton RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIS FACE.
2. He runs sales for a company that sells marching band music and writes percussion parts for their shows. He a also run a nonprofit/independent drumline.
3. Bath time. When she was itty bitty I think he was afraid of her being all slippery but now it's just one of our things. If we are short on time I'll grab her at the end of my shower for a quick rise and shampoo.

1. He takes out the trash. Does laundry (but never, ever folds it. lol), and takes care of the baby during the day. He also does all the outside stuff... gutters, mowing, cleaning decks, etc. I do wish he did more, but I wish I did more too. I'm lazy after work, so I really can't blame him.
2. He works in a warehouse putting together orders for gorcery stores. He works swing shift.
3. Putting the baby to sleep. He doesn't like to sleep for DH at all. He can only get him to sleep in the swing.
1. DH is so helpful around the house. We both work full time and are full time graduate students on top of that so we both do everything that we can when we can and share the responsibilities around the house. The only things he does that I never do are cat litter and the trash. Other than that we share the household duties and take care of our son together.
2. My husband is a BHP (Behavioral Health Professional). He helps children with Autism to develop life skills and to operate in their communities.
3. Multitask. My husband cannot multitask to save his life.
2. DH is a firefighter. On his days off he also works for a welding company.
3. DH is not good at paying the bills. I do everything finance related. He also HATES grocery shopping.
Commercial photographer, he has a cool job. Last year he got to shoot Katy perry, bon jovi and a past president.
I'm better at calming babies. He does better at it when I'm not around. However he kicks my butt when it comes to swaddling.
He takes out the trash and puts his clothes in the laundry hamper... He's a huge help with the boys
2. What does DH do for a living?
He is a corporate attorney for a large law firm here in Houston.
3. Name something that you can do very easily, that DH has a difficult time doing.
Making the bed. I have to make it everyday! If it were up to him it'd never get made!

1. What does DH do around the house to help out? Do you wish he did more?
He does laundry and runs the dishwasher occasionally. Also takes care of feeding the pets at night before bed. I wish he would do more, but he gets home late and gets too tired to do anything...
2. What does DH do for a living?
He works at Costco.
3. Name something you can do very easily, that DH has a difficult time doing.
Calming LO down when she's upset.

My DH is pretty awesome, he does the floors which I hate doing, we both wash the cloth diapers, he washes dishes and I dry, he's extremely helpful with DS including splitting MOTN feedings, he does all the yard work, I wish he picked up his tissues!!
2. What does DH do for a living? He's a programmer for video games.3. Name something that you can do very easily, that DH has a difficult time doing. We balance each other really well, he's more logical and I'm creative. I cook, paint, write all very easily... things like that take him forever!

2. Right now he is a manager at a grocery store but he starts Fire Academy in two months. He is also a full time student.
3. Calm Jovanni and laundry. I don't know why it's impossible for him.

Now that I'm back at work, he cooks dinner most nights. I have over an hour commute so we'd eat really late if he waited for me to get home to cook. He also takes out the trash, pours the pellets in our pellet stove (because the bags are heavy), and handles the outside stuff like mowing the lawn. He always puts the laundry in the wash but never folds. He also is generally responsible for washing dishes because we have no dishwasher and I'm always busy folding and putting away the ridiculous amount of laundry he's washed and piled up on the couch.
2. What does DH do for a living? He's a very sexy electrician. 3. Name something that you can do very easily, that DH has a difficult time doing. Find things. DH can never find anything. I tell him to look with his hands. Also, though he works in a construction trade, his skills are strictly limited to electrical work. On the rare occasion that we do house projects, I usually have to go behind him and fix his work.
