So my son is 4 months old and I feel as though it is so difficult to run errands with him. Take today for example. I was hoping to do a quick run to Target and a stop at While Foods which would probably take me all of two hours. Yet my son is refusing to nap and I am having so much anxiety going out with him. He hates the car seat, so I know the ride around town would do nothing for him.
Does anyone else have this problem? STMs, tell me. When does this part get easier? I really miss just being able to make a quick shipping trip.
ETA: Sorry about typos. I am on my phone.

Re: Running Errands with Baby
Stupid Michigan! But I do miss Michigan!! At least you guys have snow up in the mitten, we have this horrible mix of rain and slush where I am. Although I don't miss that biting MI cold where it feels like it's freezing your lungs.
Ohh, and I make sure I take my DD on errands when she just wakes up from her nap and/or has been fed. She loves the store because she can look around and check out all the lights. However, I do enjoy leaving her with DH as the grocery store is pretty much my only "alone time" aside from the 10 min shower....
DS is 11w old and yes, it is difficult for us as well. One huge plus is that we live within a 5min walk to a grocery store. But I try to limit our outings to just 1 errand per day. DS doesn't nap well but these days he actually enjoy looking at the supermarket aisles.
We also go to a weekly BFing support group, so I can nurse him while I'm there. I usually stop at TJ's or WF on our way home - at least DS has a full tummy so he won't be crying!
