Woohoo!

12 weeks today!  It feels like a huge milestone!

I am a plum I believe. 

Vent: I have gotten my daughter's cold, so we've both been home miserable for the past few days.  Dirty, snotty tissues EVERYWHERE.

Update/Appointments: Had a great 12 week appointment on Thursday, so we spilled the beans to everyone else.  Feels good to stop with the secrets.  Still very nervous about upcoming appointments with specialists since we're high risk with alloimmunity issues, but trying to keep positive.

NBR: My husband passed his national veterinary boards!  Now he can just hang tight until graduation and find a job.  We're going to have NORMAL INCOME in a few months after living like poor college students for the past 12 years... I am on cloud 9, except I have no idea where we'll be living in 4 months!

I have my 2nd appt this week, and had the nt scan lt week which was great to see the baby

NBR..... Still thinking about what to do work wise after the baby comes- I would love to be a SAHM, just not sure if we can swing it....

Any vents or updates? I'm still dry heaving on the reg, but my food aversions are mostly gone. I've got to figure out a way to block my sense of smell because that sets me off more than anything

Anyone have any appointments this week? Monday is my first "real" appt. I have to ask about a NT scan because I realized the other day they don't do them. And I'll find out if they do heart beat dopplers at each appt. 

Anything NBR you want to share? In case you couldn't tell by the OP, there is snow here! Its our first and probably only bit of snow we'll get, so I'm happy

12 weeks today!! I can't believe my baby is already the size of a plum!

I do have a vent: I caught that stinkin COLD that has been going around! It's so miserable. Can barely breathe or hear, so much pressure in my head, and yet I still have to go to work today. Blah.

My next appointment isn't till the 7th, and I can't wait to hear the heartbeat again to know that everything is still good in there!

NBR: I am tired of this awful cold and snow! It definitely doesn't make life any easier.

Thank you! I was just about to quote you on the not sleeping through the night.  I have to get up to pee around 2am every night and can never fall asleep.  It sucks, right?

Any vents or updates? I started telling more people about the pregnancy and will tell work on Tuesday (I have an annual career discussion set up...how convenient!). However, I won't go broader/FBO until after my vacation (~15w)

Anyone have any appointments this week? We had our NT scan yesterday! Baby was 55mm (not quite 2.2") and measuring a bit ahead at 12w1d (vs. 11w6d).  Healthy heartbeat (162bpm) and just overall beautiful. Our baby was super cooperative and the u/s tech got everything she needed in not even 5 minutes?! It was a bit disappointing since I had heard and was expecting closer to 20 minutes with baby but really, I'm just happy (s)he is healthy. And, as I think about it, just in case there is anything bad about zapping baby with u/s rays the shorter the better, probably. I wish she would have explained more of what we were seeing, too.

Here's some pix from NT scan...I love the long legs and cute face in the first. I *THINK* the 2nd photo shows the external genitals but being a FTM I'm not sure. If so, anyone want to make a guess as to the gender based on "angle of the dangle"? lol

Any vents or updates? Most of my symptoms have eased, but I have developed really bad sciatica! Have spent the past few days dealing with shooting pains down my right leg. Ouch

Anyone have any appointments this week? Had my 12 week scan on Tuesday, and then shared the news with work, friends, facebook, etc. It's been exciting!

Anything NBR you want to share? Booked a flight home for April (I live in the UK) so am looking forward to seeing my family soon!

Any vents or updates? No real vents or updates.  I am starting to show, so I went out and bought a couple maternity pants and tops.  I teach private music lessons, and pretty soon I think the parents of my students are going to figure it out...or at least start to wonder...

I have a nasty stomach virus and I've been on the couch all afternoon. DD had a planned sleepover at my sisters and DH and I were supposed to have a date night. Instead I'll be on the couch sipping ginger ale.

We had a great NT scan yesterday! Baby was moving all around. Can't wait for the AS on March 11th!

For those of you who are x weeks 0 days on Saturdays...

How many weeks are you? 11 today... that means 29 weeks-ish left. That's not too bad, right??

What fruit are you? Lime... I've had the song Lime in the Coconut stuck in my head all day.

Any vents or updates? Not really anything exciting going on this week. I'm feeling a little better, able to eat a little more, and subsequently buying a home doppler because I'm freaking out- m/s lasted until 15 weeks with both DS's.

Anyone have any appointments this week? Nothing for me, nothing Until the 12th.

Anything NBR you want to share? Just a little AW for my 10 month old... he is now CRUISING! He went from totally immobile Christmas eve, to crawling Christmas day, to rolling both ways the week after, pulling up last Tuesday,  cruising yesterday. So proud of my Chunky Monkey!!
