Recommend Your Playard/Pack N Play

Due to space limitations we are using a Playard/Pack N Play instead of a crib.  So I'd prefer...

-One with a sturdy, safe bassinet level/option
-Easily portable, preferably easy to roll.  Also light or roll-able when packed up for travel (we travel a lot)
-Storage of some sort
-Will fit a standard size travel crib mattress (or has a soft enough bottom that one is not needed)

Changing table topper and newborn nappers are optional.  I really don't think I'd use either a lot/long enough to matter.

We've been eyeing the Chicco Midori Playard, but it's just so pricey that I'm wondering if there's a more affordable option for us out there.  The reason we love that playard is that when it's folded up for traveling you can use the wheels to help you move it.  I'm disabled with full use of only one arm so the easier things are, the happier I am.  :)

Thank you!

I’m a modern man, a man for the millennium. Digital and smoke free. A diversified multi-cultural, post-modern deconstruction that is anatomically and ecologically incorrect. I’ve been up linked and downloaded, I’ve been inputted and outsourced, I know the upside of downsizing, I know the downside of upgrading. I’m a high-tech low-life. A cutting edge, state-of-the-art bi-coastal multi-tasker and I can give you a gigabyte in a nanosecond! I’m new wave, but I’m old school and my inner child is outward bound. I’m a hot-wired, heat seeking, warm-hearted cool customer, voice activated and bio-degradable. I interface with my database, my database is in cyberspace, so I’m interactive, I’m hyperactive and from time to time I’m radioactive.

Thank you!  From looking online I don't see where it has wheels.  Am I just not looking at the right model?

  • We love our Joovy Room Play yard....has a bassinet, changing station & placard. It also has wheels, making it easy to roll from room to room if needed & amazing storage/organizer on the side (9 storage compartments). It has some bells & whistles that we don't really use, like an MP3 jack with speakers & a built in nightlight. We love it!

But if you're looking for something light, easy to fold up & travel with I recommend the Aprica Haven or 4moms Breeze Playard

  • I registered for the Aprica, and per BRU, it is being discontinued. I am going to order it this week from wherever I can find it.
