What am I doing wrong?

I try to cloth diaper but my diapers leak. I'm not sure what I've done wrong. I have horribly cheap diapers I think, they're called Lotus Bumz, I got them from Zulily. As soon as DS pees, the outside of the diaper gets wet and his clothes end up wet between his legs. Anyone have any advice?

Yeah those diapers suck and are total junk. Not all CDs are terrible like that. I don't have any advice because there's nothing you can do to save those diapers. They aren't waterproof.

Try a more reputable brand like Bum Genius, Blueberries, Fuzzibuns.

Alva and Kawaii are great too if you're looking for something less expensive.

Sometimes diapers aren't defective but leak because the brand just doesn't fit your baby's individual shape very well, if they are leaking out the leg and not actually through the diaper.  Some people do a diaper trial to see what brand fits their baby best.

Yeah, but if they're alvas why are they leaking? I did have an alva with faulty PUL and it was replaced. These should be too.

They actually didn't look like Alvas when someone asked last like two weeks ago or something. It looks like they got a new supplier. A crappy new supplier.

His outfits are wet around the leg holes of a onesie. I guess that would mean it's leaking out of the leg openings?
