Random, but I saw in your response to the vacation thread that you are supposed to head to Lake Tahoe for a trip. Just thought I'd let you know that I live there, in case you want any recommendations or have any questions about where to stay, eat, etc. Hope you come out and have a great time!

Aw thanks Svenny!  It's actually our favorite place on earth because it's so beautiful!  We've been there two other times (once together and once apart before we met).  

I won't know until mid March if we're able to do that trip, but if we do I will def. hit you up for ideas.  As for where to stay we'll probably stay at Harvey's just because we have enough points there to stay for free in the middle of the week.  But would love to hear about restaurants, or places to go.

It is a beautiful place! Sometimes it is surreal that we live here (although we may be moving back to SF soon b/c of DH's work).

Don't you love points?! We're doing our Mexico trip all from United miles and American Express points. It feels like a free vacation.....even though you had to spend money to get those points  

My girlfriend and I were talking last night about how Paris Hilton is hosting the opening of some new club at Harrah's. I would have loved to see that sh!tshow, but unfortunately will be out of town. Booooooooooooo. We live on the North Shore, so we don't get down there much - that would for sure be a reason to go!
