This check in is for Friday, January 25, 2013.
Hi ladies! Hope you all had a great week! And thank you so much to all of those who gave me feedback about this check in. I really appreciate your responses.
No BFP announcements this week.
This is a check in for those of us that are TTC #2 or more and that have had one or more losses. A few board members thought it would be nice to connect with other 2IF ladies who have had losses since it's nice to have the support and friendship of others going through similar experiences.
Check in is every Friday. Please note it may not be until afternoon or evening but I am planning to keep it going every Friday!
No new members this week.
Any others interested in joining, please post an introduction that includes your TTC history and your current status and I will add you to the list.
**If you do not check in for three consecutive weeks, I will remove you from the list of current members, but if you'd like to be a part of it again, just join in again!

If you get a BFP please share with us along with your EDD.
There will also be a question of the week as a GTKY.
kimberm0511 - How are you feeling and how is your recovery from the D & C going?
laurid75 - Saw you had your first IUI Tuesday and you're now in the 2WW! Exciting! Hang in there!
Lauren79 - How are you feeling? I think you were going in for another HCG level check this morning? Hoping the results are that it's finally lowering - I know this has been a really hard time and am sending you extra hugs.
jennaqueena - Saw your thread today regarding your embie update! Even though I'm still learning about the process, everything I read sounds like everything is going REALLY fabulously! That's great! So happy for you! Good luck with your transfer on Sunday!
iloveshanej - Saw your thread today about being late! Wishing all the best for you for your plans
to test Sunday morning! Will be looking
for an update ![]()
egsquared - It looks like it's been a busy week for you! I think the last I read, you had the egg retrieval done and the fertilization report complete and planning for a three day transfer today. How did it/is it going for you today? Hope it all is going well!
SigmundsGirl - Glad it sounds like from your post on Wed that everything went will with the IUI. I hope the Clomid side effects are still not giving you any problems!
efhoping2010 - How have you been this week? I'm so sorry to hear about the problems you're having with the insurance company and hoping it comes to a resolution soon. You don't need that stress on top of everything else!
ttcmbbaby, KKDRAGONFLY & DahliaFlower - We missed you last week and hope you're well!
QOTW: If you were going to be stranded on a desert island for a week what are five things you would bring with you? Let's pretend you will have the bare essentials of food, water, shelter, and clothes.
As always, if anyone has any suggestions to make the check in better, please PM me!

Re: *~*~*2IF TTCAL Weekly Check In*~*~*
I would like to sadly join you...
DNC scheduled for next Thursday
AFM...
Had my HSG appointment Tuesday. Happily, it all went very well. They didn't find any abnormalities or any blockages and it was all relatively painless. So that was a big relief, although not a suprise. I just figured since I've not had any issues with getting the BFPs that things must be pretty clear or I wouldn't be getting positives.
Still just waiting for the remaining blood test results then.
Got a positive OPK this week, so just waiting for the confirmation temp shift to make sure I'm still ovulating as normal (which is a big worry for me after every loss I've had but so far it's been okay).
Just waiting, waiting, waiting now...
QOTW:
1) Some sort of solar powered or hand cranked kind of radio for music. I would lose my mind without some kind of music;
2) One of those solar powered showers - has anyone seen those? I though about getting one the last time we lost power for many, many days. It's like a bag thing that you put water in and the sun heats it up and you can hang it from a tree or something to make it into your own shower! So clever!
3) A Bible, with a whole lot of blank pages in the back.
4) A guitar
5) A pen so I could use the blank pages in the back of the Bible as a journal.

QOTW : Laptop or tablet, pillow, sun screen, water filter
QOTW: tablet, pillow, some sort of all in one shampoo/body wash, deck of cards, sun screen
bklyninri - Big hugs for you!
Anita - I'm glad your HSG went well!
Update: I have had a little bloating, but that could be from the Clomid, HSG, or the IUI. I start progesterone suppositories tonight. At least they are only at night, so it isn't too bad. I think this is going to be one of the longest 2ww I have ever had. At least I have a couple of ladies on here with me. My doctor said I could do an EPT test on 2/5 and then do a beta on 2/6.
QOTW:
1) Generator
2) A/C or fan
3) pillow
4) laptop or tablet
5) cards
Dx: PCOS and short luteal phase
18 cycles (3 with our RE) - Metformin + Clomid + HCG booster did the trick!

I went for another level check this am. My level finally has gone down to 148. I do have to be monitored by an MD while we are away in Savannah and may need more methotrexate shots. I am relieved.
I feel terrible today but am not able to relax. DD's daycare closed early because of the weather. I took today off to pack and I am just miserable. I have cramping and a back ache and I am exhausted. DD has a cough and kept me up most of the night.
I need a mental break. Going to go on this vacation, try to heal emotionally. When I get back, I will schedule an HSG and look into starting another round of injectibles. I am not in a rush.
QOTW: Music, I cannot live without music, my pillow, some good Danielle Steel books, my craft box, pen and paper.
I am of course assuming DH and DD are on this island : )

Hi Ladies,
We had an unexpected chemical pregnancy diagnosed when I went for my day 2 ultrasound / labs, so unfortunately couldn't do IVF this cycle (my hormones got all wonky!)... So, I am officially now a multiple early loss gal. I can only begin to guess how many chemical pregnancies I've had. Anyway.. we are coming up on ovulation for this cycle, in which we will try our best the old fashioned way, and then we will go on to IVF in mid Feb.
QOTW:
1) hopefully I can get a signal for my Kindle Fire w/ collection of ebooks on it!
2) a cozy bed with fine linen and a faux down comforter
3) a few bottle (case?) of good red wine
4) essential toiletries (esp toothpaste and sunscreen)
5) DH - does he count as a thing??
