DH and BM talked before hand, and she said if DH would agree to doing Christmas and spring break the way she wanted, she would agree to everything else. That seemed fair enough. But of course once she was with her lawyer yesterday she agreed to nothing. The ONLY thing she offered was for us to still pick him up on Friday, and she would meet half way on Sunday, but the place she wants to meet is really more like 2/3 for us.So, court next month.
Bye bye tax return! lol

Hope court is speedy and BM gets what she deserves.
It might turn around and bite her in butt. My orginal custody order was for me being in another state with joint my ex being primary. When I moved back I asked if we could make changes he basically said I could get them Friday evening instead of Saturday morning and refused anything else. So, I had him served 2 weeks later, we went to mediation where we could agree on few things then he back out of everything. He countered my motion for more money. Once in front of judge and we went over everything that happened I got joint/joint. I still pay CS because I make more but judge looked at him and said, "you can't ask for more money because you are mad at her or want more"
I'm guessing it will bite her in the butt. Hopefully you'll get more than you originally wanted and your tax return will be way more than worth losing.
Can you refresh my mind - what are you guys wanting and what is BM wanting for Spring Break and Christmas?
We want more time for holidays (for example we get 9-6 on July 4, we want to turn that into a full day or two) and summer, and to split the driving (we now do 100%)
We asked to now split xmas break in half, one gets the whole week of christmas, the other the whole week of new years, and to alternate all of spring break every year. IF it has to change at all, she wanted xmas break in 4 chunks so one would have xmas even the other xmas, and she wanted to split spring break in half. We find those to be a little obnoxious, but if we were going to get more time overall and split driving we would have agreed to it.
