I think I remember reading on a past post that some of you take extra lanolin, rub it in your hands, and pat it into the wet zone of your wool covers before using them? I did the 2nd round of lanolizing yesterday and I'm waiting for the cover to dry. Do you recommend I add the extra lanolin as described above? Should I do it now while the cover is still damp, or wait til it's completely dry? And how much lanolin should I use? Enough to make the cover a bit sticky?
I feel super dorky, but I'm SO excited to try wool, especially since LO has started sleeping more than 7 hours the past few nights!
Re: Lanolin question
I would be interested the answer too! I just started using wool for night time and I love it. I have added a thin layer of lanolin on a dry soaker. I also have added extra when it was damp. I haven't experimented with this to know which is best.
I can say I got the best lanolizing results when I soaked my wool overnight.
