Is there such a thing?

In the past week or so, Alice has decided she doesn't like her paci anymore.  Is there such a thing as pacifer regression? LOL  Usually, she starts crying pretty hard and I can stick the paci in her mouth and she's good to go.  Lately though, she'll only take it if she's super tired, and even then it's a fight.  I've tried a couple different kinds and it's the same.  So, what paci do you use?

The paci was our life saver till he hit about two months and now he just chews them or gets pissed and grunts till we stop trying to get him to take it. It was over night when he decided he just didn't want it

We use the Avent now.  It's the one she's starting to not be impressed with.    It used the be the only one she did like.

Neither of my boys will take the paci or a bottle anymore, so maybe there is such a thing. They just play with the nipple in their mouth like they forgot what they're supposed to do with it.

I have a nuk and a soothie and she refuses both. She'll take it if she's in the mood otherwise, don't even offer.

I tried 3 different kinds and then one day I was changing him and he was having a freak out, I had stashed just a cheapo no name brand with a Tigger face on the front in his changing table so I tried that one and BAM. He was in love.

We use the Mams and she likes them and she'll tolerate a Nuk in a pinch.  Ultimately she prefers her fist or thumb, but I always swap it out for a paci.  It was a fight to get her to take any pacis in the beginning though, and we cycled through a ton before we found the Mams.

I think so because Mackenzie did this. She had a upper respiratory infection about a month ago and ever since then has refused a paci, she loved them before that. We usually used MAM but we have also tried the Nuk and soothies. She has one of those soothies with the animals on it? and she likes to chew on the frog way more than the paci.
