So I'm doing bedtime tonight by myself and things are going great. I gave bath, jammies, bottles and no meltdowns... Until I reached for my giant cup of ovaltine chocolate milk, and dumped it all over myself and K while she was taking a bottle. She looked at me like WHAT'S HAPPENING??!! Of course she cried and disturbed her sis who was settling in the rnp. Poor thing. We are clean now and back to the bottle

Nap time and bedtime are the hardest parts of our day. My girls are master tag teamers.

Okay, now I really have to aw myself! For some unknown and wonderful reason, J and K have allowed me to put them in thier cribs wide awake the past few nights!! They poke in their thumbs and they're out from 10 till 8. Usually we fight until midnight or after! Wonder how long this wonderful stage will last??

It still kind of unnerves me when MH goes on nights. That first night I still get nervous but once he is down and happy, it renews my confidence a little.

That's awesome!  LO used to go to bed at 2am and there wasn't a darn thing anyone could do to get her to go to sleep earlier. Then 3 weeks ago she caught a cold and passed out at 11.  She's been going to bed at 1030-11 ever since.  It's been wonderful.  Hopefully your LOs will do the same!  

I'm insanely jealous of everyone who's LOs go to bed at 8 or 9.  We'll get there one day.

 I'm glad to hear that! I'm also insanely jealous of those who go to bed at 8 or 9. Your LO sounds like mine. For some reason they just love to be awake until the wee hours. I feel like they're too little to CIO, so I just hold them. I want to punch the pedi every time he asks me, "are you putting them down awake?" Because that was NOT happening. Maybe now I can actually tell him that we are putting them down awake!! Like I said, I'm not holding my breath that this will keep up!
