- I just bought a chest of drawers for $10 off of our county's FB sale page. The only reason I bought it was for the handles. I'm redoing a dresser now and I know the handles from the chest will make it amazing!
- My sister came to nanny house for 2 hours this morning. Nanny family does not mind me having my mom, sister or brother come over since they have children/ are an active part of my nanny babies lives. My sister was flipping out every time the kids did something daredevilish. I realized I'm probably a little too easy going.
- Nb asked for "Fried Fikles" this morning. I started the pickle kick a couple weeks ago because I love them. Anyway, I fixed them for us to eat after our muffins.

-Lincoln woke up with a fever of 102+, which freaks me out even more about quitting nursing. Boo. Hiss.
-When he is sick, I let him eat and drink anything he wants, so long as he is taking something in. especially following his hospitalization, I am really lax about letting him drink when he is sick because I want to avoid a re-do at any costs. Thus, we shared a Cactus Cooler at dinner last night.
-This rarely happens but I actually have two delicious lunch options.
-Buying this house and money concerns are over-riding my brain.
-I still have Christmas gifts to put away. I just have no place to put them and if we're moving soon I don't want to deal with trying to find room.
I love being able to get together with my family and friends during the day. It's one of my favorite "perks" of being a nanny lol.
My randoms:
1- I'm having dinner with Eesome tonight!
2- DS is going to start aquatic therapy in a couple of weeks. I need to buy him a new swim suit!
3- I wish our laundry room was on the first floor.
4- I haven't had Nutella in over about a month.
oh, mama! You have a lot going on! What is a Cactus Cooler??
Dh and I have discussed moving and the thought gives me major anxiety.

Cactus Cooler is only the world's most delicious soda. It is pineapple-orange flavored. They bottle it here in North Texas but I have only been able to find it on the West coast, oddly enough. They literally bottle it 10 miles away but they want $50 for a 6-pack. Not gonna happen so we have it flown in from California.
Me not having a job, and this being our first home, is what I feel is driving me over the edge. All the work I do is sporadic and doesn't bring in much money. Oh well. The town we're trying to move to has a teeny tiny population but I am hoping to do provide childcare in my home. We'll see!
I've never had fried pickles or cactus cooler. Can't say either sounds really appealing.
I had my GD test this morning. I have a sore throat. The glucola was ice cold and it felt SO nice I pretty much chugged it down. lol
I am SO nervous about selling our condo right now. The inspection is Saturday, and then they have a week or so to get back to us (a few days for them to get the report, then a few more days for them to read it over).
I drove by the new house this morning, just because I wanted to see it.
That cactus cooler, admittedly, doesn't sound appetizing BUT IT IS!! So, so delicious. I love fried pickles, too. Although, sometimes here in TX they're too spicy for my tastes. Unrelated: I HATE bread and butter pickles. I only like dills!
Now I'm craving fried pickles.
I took DS to The Little Gym for class today and we went out for lunch afterwards. He was being such a brat at lunch that I scarfed down my food so that we could leave. We got home and he threw his first full blown temper tantrum that included screaming, flailing, thrashing, and throwing. I was not amused. Now he's sleeping and I'm staring at a pile of laundry that needs folding.
Are those what the sweet ones are called? If so, I hate those too! EEEEEEW!

Mrs. Case, Cactus Coolers sound amazing. We have Pineapple Crush and it's deadly. Orange added in would throw it over the top.
SO is gone all night for work and I'm kind of liking the alone time.
Assessing kids makes me sooooo sleepy. Last week I caught myself saying "your volleyball skills" to a poor little boy in grade 1. I think I fell asleep with my eyes open and was dreaming because all he needed to tell me was what sound the word "often" started with. Shoot.
I have never even heard of a Cactus Cooler but I will certainly investigate! I make my own fried pickles and season to my taste. I only do dills to! Bread and Butter is naaassttaayy!
