AHS finale *spoiler alert*

Perhaps I've missed the post on this but I'm curious to know what everyone thought of last night's finale.

I thought the Lana & BF 2.0 ending was a little predictable but I like how it paralleled the the original BF storyline with Lana, especially the exchange they had before she shot him.

I'm disappointed that Kit's kids didn't have more of an impact on anyone besides Jude.  I was hoping they'd show up to confront BF 2.0 or something.

I'm extrememly anxious to find out what season 3 will bring to the table.  Anyone have any ideas or heard rumors?

  • I want to discuss this, but I don't even know what to say about it. I was happy with the way it all ended until the flashback at the end. Then, I got really confused.

Me, too!  SO was no help in figuring it out either.  He just said, "Maybe that's what could have happened."   That doesn't make any sense.

  • I've been waiting for this thread.

I thought it was very satifying, but like ammare, I was confused by the ending.  Was the whole thing not "real"?  I don't get the point of making us think "was it all a dream?"

With everything said and done, this season was very scary, but I still could never get it up for the alien storyline.  I think it would have been better without it.  It made the whole season kind of cheesy.

  • I seem to remember a conversation like that happening before Lana snuck back into Briarcliff and ended up committed there. She and Jude had a conversation in the entry way.

Jude's words summed up the entire season. If you look for evil, evil will find you. Even if it's in yourself.

The whole season was about mistakes, cruelty and evil and eventually forgiveness.

I really loved the final episode. I kinda loved how Kit saved Jude. I really wish they would have explained the aliens more. What were the kids exactly? How did they "save Jude".

Also if Lana just left at the end and didn;t end up staying...what happened to Kit? I feel like his innocense was proved with the help of Lana.

This is what I was thinking too. Then I read someone's comment on the AHS board (I couldn't resist) and they said that they looked up the original scene of her leaving and that wasn't how the conversation went.

The kids saved Jude by bringing her back to life...from the edge of insanity to a life worth living.

Kit would have eventually been exonerated I think.  There's no way that Threadson could stop killing.

Really? I was thinking the same thing. Maybe Google will help.
