Oh my goodness it is hard to trim down there because of the big belly. I trimmed down there this morning with my razor and around the sides of my legs also, it looked like the lawn hasn't been mowed for a while, kind of grossed me out. When I am not pregnant, I trim every day, but now it is like every 3 days or so....
Re: Trimming
I'm trying to keep trimmed because it will be much easier to keep clean down there after delivery. I tried doing a trim job in the shower last night but at this point it's so hard to tell what I'm doing down there. I almost asked DH to check it for me.
I could kind of feel what I was doing down below but there's no telling what the front looks like. I've been trying to keep it hitler-style in the front but it probably looks like hitler with the mange at this point.
after anovulatory diagnosis and TTC for 1 1/2yrs with several medicated cycles and one chemical pregnancy, we have our first bundle of joy!
IT'S A GIRL!
#2 EDD 2/5/13 dx with anti-BIG E antibody, seeing a MFM
I don't take one single minute for granted.
I did trim it in the shower and when i seen it in the mirror i was horrified! So i fixed in the mirror i was so sad its so poofy and looks horrible to me I was so embarrassed I broke down in tears! Silly but I can't see it and I'm shy about it. My husband is very sweet and offered to kiss it and make it better lol that made me giggle and he hugged me. I felt better wrapped in his loving hug.
This exacty, and I have to say he did a pretty good job!
I asked for a fog free shower mirror for christmas but DH couldnt find one. Maybe it's better that I cant see anything down there! lol
I try to shave blindly every few days but I KNOW i'm missing spots, it must look ridiculous
New Mommy since 4/3/13
This is what I do. Although, not everyday. I'm lucky enough to have slow growing body hair so I can get away with once or twice a week. I usually double check in the mirror after my shower, but don't usually need to do any touch ups. Still working at 40+ weeks
Kudos to you! Even not being pregnant, I don't trim every day.
That being said, I still hate the old-school bush that I'm rockin', even with the trimming. Do your best, and know this isn't forever
Conceived on July 4th 2012. Husband deployed to Afghanistan on July 24th (the day we doctor confirmed the pregnancy). Started to show around 12 weeks (or at least had baby bloat) so started to get hard to see to shave. Once cold weather set in I decided I had no reason to shave the lady bits or even my legs.
Learn from my mistakes: Don't ever do that! LOL Had some boudoir photos taken this past Sunday so obviously needed to shave and trim, etc.
Took me 45 minutes to shave my legs due to the difficultly of being able to bend far enough, the belly blocking the view, and the amount of hair on my legs. Also, cut myself 4 times and was pretty sure I was going to bleed out from one of them. haha
Took another 30 minutes to trim the lady bits simply because I couldn't see. Definitely going to try the mirror trick. Was also thinking about Nair... I know it works for legs as I've used it before, but not sure if it's safe to use on more sensitive areas? Anybody know for sure?
Moral of the story? Don't be crazy like me and stop shaving just because it's winter and you don't have a SO to sleep next to every night. You'll regret it, I did.
