Cold VS Flu

If you LOs had the actual flu, how'd you did you know it was the flu Nd not a bad cold?

    I would look for a fever. Any if they were sleeping a lot more.

    we are battling bronchiolitis right now (which is basically a cold in the chest) our symptoms are: coughing, sneezing, wheezing, and chest retractions while breathing (where he is working so hard to breathe, you can see his ribs when he tries to take a breath in).  No fever what so ever.  Our highest temp was 99.7, but was usually around 98.6...

    Fever and waaaaaaaaaaay more whiny and clingy than usual. Normally we don't bother going to the dr with just a fever unless it has lasted longer than 24hrs. This time we brought in LO the first day of the fever because he just wasn't like he normally is when sick.
