when to put the patch on?

Thanks everyone!  I am start the estrogen patches today,  Course DH picked up meds for me a few weeks ago.  He got all the instructions.   Today at 6am he asks "do we put the patch on in the morning or at night when you take lupron?"  I don't know!   

Unless I hear differently I am going with this morning after the shower.

Any input from the more experienced?

I would put mine on after my daily shower, but I don't think it really matters.

I was told to put them on in either the night or the morning and stick to that time of day each day.

Great!  Thanks for the feedback ladies.  I've got two patches on my behind now and I guess we are now committed to morning patch changes. 

So here's another question.... WHERE do you put yours

The documents that came in the box show bum, back and tummy, never the same place 2 days in a row.  At some point I will be wearing 4 patches. So, do you put them ALL in the same area that day (i.e. right cheek) or do you spread them out.  One on the cheek, the belly, the back and the???

I guess I should call the pharmacist....

My RE says only on my stomach. Ive never heard of someone wearing 4 at one time. Are you on any other type of e2? I wear one for 3 days then change, I just rotate sides.

I'm blindly following my calendar. 

I'm starting with 2 with I replace every 2nd day 3 times

Then I replace 2 with 3, replace evyer 2nd day 2 times.

Then I replace 3 with 4 and replace every 2nd day until they tell me to stop.

In the midst of all of that I need to inject in my tummy area every day (so I wasn't going patch there). 

I'm going to have to call my pharmacists.

I would call your RE. That way they can tell you what they want the pharmacist is going to tell you what the medication is labeled for.
