I just got up the courage to post here.  I've been lurking a lot and posting occasionally in 1st tri but a lot of the topics there seem to be the same thing... m/s and spotting questions and I feel I've moved past that (even though m/s is still horrible but not as bad)

 

I just want to say congrats to everyone and hope we get to know each other throughout this journey!  my due date is august 21st. I'm a FTM and first of my friends so I'm kind of clueless.  H and I are both 29 and just got married in Sept so this was kind of a surprise since we wanted to wait a year but we weren't exactly preventing either.  We had our first appointment yesterday which was overwhelming!  I got teary eyed seeing the LO and his little heart fluttering on the ultrasound and I'm starting to get very excited!  on the drive home all I could say was "there is actually a baby in there" lol I'm kind of the I have to see it to believe it kind of person so it's sinking in now

Welcome! I am also due August 21 and will be a ftm. My husband and I were just married last October. It was a bit of a surprise for us too. We weren't exactly not trying though and had talked about starting to try soon. I will be 34 the beginning of next month and my husband will be 34 in March. Actually writing that out makes me feel so old. lol.
