Success on Clomid and Ovidrel?

I am on day 3 of my menstrual cycle and my dr recommended taking 50mg of Clomid today for 5 days, then meeting him again next Tuesday to see if my body responded and follicules are forming.. Then the following week 1st week of feb he will be doing my ovidrel injection and performing an IUI with n husbands sperm. We are both under 30 and have good health and I would like to hear successful stories and how the process was for others. I'm very excited :) 

Also, I have poly cystic ovarian syndrome. I only ovulate from one ovary and I don't ovulate every month. I have had ultasounds, blood work and my husband has also had a sperm count. HSG clear

    You won't find many success stories here. You might want to check out SAIF for that. I have had 3 IUIs and all were negative. 

    Me: 33 DH: 32 SA#1 low count (6mil) SA#2- now in IUI range!(30mil) Dx:MFI

    IVF#1. Long Lupron.ER 3/8 10R,4M,5F. ET 3/3-one 1AB, 2 frosties 5dp5dt-BFP!! Beta 3/25-794 Beta 3/27- 1794
    First u/s 4/8 saw hb. 4/22 missed mc 8w3d. d&c 4/26
    FET #1- bcp start 6/9. ET 7/12. 2 perfect blasts.5dpt-BFP!! 
    Beta 7/24 -1,239!! Beta 7/26- 2569 Beta 7/29- 7120.  U/S 8/7 hb 118! U/S 8/14 hb 143! U/S 8/20 hb 170. Graduated!! Stick baby stick!

    You won't find success stories here, but good luck with your IUI.

    TTC since July 2011
    BFP #1: 2/15/12-Ectopic/Mtx at 6 wks
    BFP #2: 10/12/12-m/c at 5 wks. 
    BFP #3: 8/27/13
    Me: MTHFR, Low AMH (1.1), High NK cells and Antiphospholipid Antibodies.
    DH:MFI-Low morph (1%), DNA fragmentation: Excellent!
    5 rounds of clomid, 3 IUIs, and multiple non-medicated cycles- BFFN                                                      
    IVF with ICSI in August 2013 brought us our babies.  ER-9R, 7M, 4F w/ICSI  ET of 2-Grade 2 blasts. 
    + HPT at 6dp5dt. #1 (8dp5dt)- 105    #2 (13dp5dt)- 510  #3 (15dp5dt)- 960  #4 (17dp5dt)- 1889
    Dx shortened cervix, PTL, and preeclampsia during pregnancy.  Lots of medications and 13 weeks of bedrest, babies were born healthy at 34w4d!

    I guess if you count a miscarriage as "success", IUI worked once for me.
    Six years of infertility and loss, four IUIs, one IVF and one very awesome little boy born via med-free birth 10.24.13.

    I will be doing my first IUI this cycle so no success story here but wanted to also wish you luck!
    Me: 27 DH: 28 Off BC 11/11/11 DH SA = High count, normal mobility and low morphology (15%) March 2012: Provera and Clomid 50mg....BFN** April 2012: Provera and Clomid 100mg.....BFN** November 2012 (w/ RE): Prometrium and Clomid 50mg CD 3-7......no response, Follistim 150IU CD11 and 75IU CD13 w/ Ovidrel and TI.....cycle cancelled due to no response to Follistim injectables.** January 2013 (w/RE): Provera, Clomid 50mg CD 3-7, Gonal-F, Ovidrel and IUI...??? HSG Test: Clear

    I got pregnant with clomid and ovidrel twice. if you respond to it you have a slightly better chance of getting pregnant. I hope it works for you

    Married 11/27/09 and TTC right away
    Dx: Complete septate uterus with cervical duplication, endometrial polyps, PCOS, endometriosis, hypo thyroid, luteal phase defect
    4 uterus surgeries to correct my complete septum and to remove polyps and 2 years of seeing the RE, medicated cycles and IUIs
    Baby 1 and 2: BFP 3/3/11 with 2 babies EDD 11/1/11, M/C 4/6/11
    Baby #3: 8/11 pregnant EDD 4/27/11 and m/c:(
    Baby #4: 10/12/11 BFP! EDD 6/16/12m/c 10/26/11
    Baby #5: 3/13/12 BFP! EDD 11/25/12 ANOTHER m/c :(

    Baby #6: 2/14/13- BFP! EDD 10/24/13, CP 2/19/13
    Baby #7: 3/15/13- BFP! EDD 11/27/13, another CP
    Baby #8.  BFP 5/19/13 EDD 1/22/14. 8 was not our lucky number

    4th septum resection on 5/31/13.
    Baby #9: 6/29/13 BFP. C section scheduled for March 5th!

    My miracle baby was born March 5 at 9:33am. He was 8 lbs 12.5 oz and 21.25 inches long!
