Got my second beta results, drawn one week after the first.
1st draw-- 1,914
2nd draw- 11,596
When I plug these into Beta Base, it shows a doubling time of 55 hours...if I recall correctly, are we not looking for something in the 24 hour range? Is this not right?
::cue the PgAL anxiety::
ETA: Thanks, Ladies -- between your reassurance and a little time with Dr. Google, I am happier with these numbers.

This exactly! Congratulations!
Whoa! I think I missed a bfp! Congrats!
with those high numbers, skip the betas and head straight to ultrasound land.
But it's around 48 hours when betas are low are ideal. When you get up to betas that high, it's a lot longer. Which is why betas are pretty much worthless at that point other to confirm "yep you're KU"
BFP #3 via cancelled IUI ~ C (2lb 3oz; HELLP) 5/16/11
BFP #4 via the natural (free!) way ~ E (8lb 11oz) 9/13/12
Hey lady! I love your siggy! C and her little brother are a-dorable! (and so BIG!)
Yes, we got a surprise (total, utter, absolute shocker) BFP a couple weeks ago. A second child was not in the plans, particularly after the challenge G has been, but we have determined that God has a sense of humor and we can do nothing but roll with it...and so we shall...
..and if all goes well and we have 2 under 2 (for a month, anyway) we will have to continue to roll with it for the next few years. As you know all too well.
I have an appt for an u/s next Thursday...eeek...
