1st RE appointment

I had my first RE appointment this morning!  Met with the Dr, who I really liked. We went over all of DH's testing.  He said that he has a great count, it's just the motility that's really low.  My obgyn was concerned with morph, he said it wasn't an issue. 

I'm going in for my CD3 bloodwork tomorrow. I wasn't able to get the HSG in this cycle since we will be out of town.  So we will schedule that next cycle, and as long as all my testing comes back okay, we will do a natural IUI that cycle.

I've noticed quite a few of you get bloodwork around 7dpo? (At least I think that's what I've read)  He never said anything about that.. is that normal?

He said that as long as the wash comes back okay for the IUI, we will go ahead with it.  If it doesn't, he's going to suggest we go to IVF.

The natual IUI with wash will be $500.  DH was very pleased with that price & would definately be fine trying that a few times.  He was originally afraid to spend too much money with IUIs only to move to IVF. 

Feeling much better now that I've met with him, feel comfortable, and happy to have a plan!

Cycle 27: Follistim + IUI#4 = BFFN
Natural Cycles until IVF
Cycle 30: IVF#1 - Starting with Menopur + Follistim + Ganirelix
17 retrieved, 12 fertilized, 5dt w/ 2 blasts, 5 frosties
Betas:  #1-156(9dp5dt), #2-1200(13dp5) #3-6112(17dp5)
Ultrasound #1 10/6: 1 bean!

    Me- 35 Dx endo; DH- 33 no probs.
    BFP#1 (totally a wonderful surprise)- 3/10/11. IUFD 6/25/11. 
    TTC since 8/2011.
    BFP#2- 11/1/11. EDD 7/6/12. Blighted ovum 12/1/11.

    New OBGYN 12/2012- CD3 labs, SA, HSG normal. 
    First RE appt 1/16/2013. Unexplained infertility. Lap planned. 

    12/2012- Clomid 50mg + TI= BFN 
    1/2013- Clomid 50mg + TI= BFN.

     Lap 2/11/2013- Removed endo. 

    3/2013- Clomid + IUI= BFN
    4/2013- Clomid + IUI= BFN
    5/2013- Clomid + IUI= BFN

    June 2013- Time for a new RE!

    July 2013- We're in Shared Risk! Love my new RE!
    August 2013- IVF#1- 14 R, 11F, transferred 1 perfect blast, 5 day 5 frosties= BFN.
    Sept 2013- Let's get ready for FET October 7th ish!< transfer 2 embies 10/11/13.......BFP 10/18/13!!!!/div>

    Isn't it such a relief to actually have a plan!? Good luck!! I hope the natural IUI works for you and you get a BFP real soon!

    Problem: Irregular menstruation, unexplained
    Nov&Dec-Provera because of no period after 35+ days
    First RE appt 1/10/2013
    Tests: TSH (normal), Prolactin (normal), SA (abnormal)
    Hysteroscopy (normal) and PCOS labs (negative/normal) 1/15/2013
    2/1/13- HPT BFP but Beta Hcg was negative
    Plan: Femara + Trigger + IUI in April if no real BFP before then Bloggy Blog!

    Woohoo for a successful first RE appointment!!! I know I felt so much more relief after our first visit and had a game plan : GL to you!!
    Me: 27 DH: 28 Off BC 11/11/11 DH SA = High count, normal mobility and low morphology (15%) March 2012: Provera and Clomid 50mg....BFN** April 2012: Provera and Clomid 100mg.....BFN** November 2012 (w/ RE): Prometrium and Clomid 50mg CD 3-7......no response, Follistim 150IU CD11 and 75IU CD13 w/ Ovidrel and TI.....cycle cancelled due to no response to Follistim injectables.** January 2013 (w/RE): Provera, Clomid 50mg CD 3-7, Gonal-F, Ovidrel and IUI...??? HSG Test: Clear
