No trigger needed? Just me?

Hi everyone! So a little update in case yall didn't see the convo between myself and FutureHuber yesterday. Remember Friday I went in for my first injects monitoring and I had zero Follies to count. Well, I went in on Monday for another monitoring u/s and had 15 follies over 10mm. Two of them were at 17mm, 3 were at 14mm, and the rest were somewhere between 10 and 13. um HELLO over stimulation.

So they ran b/w to see if I would need to cancel because um, I don't want 11 kiddos at once please... and it turns out I was surging on my own and would not need the trigger. DH and I went back in yesterday and had a pretty awesome IUI #1.

The nurse said that she's 90% positive only the two 17mm follies were mature enough to be fertilized. My question is, has this happened to anyone? Your follies matured after injects/follistim and then you didn't need the Trigger and then went ahead with a perfectly timed IUI? I'm just starting my *real this time* first 2WW and I guess I am letting my mind wander. Let me know!

If your follies been larger, with that number you'd most certainly would have been cancelled. Since you were surging with only two at 17, without the trigger your body should self regulate and only release one egg. 

I never did IUI with injects, but it sounds like you responded a little too well and will need to change things up a little if you need to do another round. GL
